QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS Education, Experience & Key Abilities Master's degree or doctoral degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited university required. Licensed as a social worker (LGSW or LICSW) or working toward clinical licensure as a marriage and family therapist (LAMFT/LMFT), professional counselor (LPC/LPCC), or psychologist (LP) in the State of Minnesota required. With clinical licensure, must be eligible to be credentialed with all major insurance companies. Must have a deep understanding of Latine cultures, values, and traditions, and demonstrate cultural responsiveness in every aspect of the role, including communication with colleagues, staff, clients, community members; creating forms and documents; hiring and training staff; and in clinical supervision and consultation. Language Skills Effective communication in Spanish and English, both verbally and in writing, required. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret written materials, including reports, contracts, and proposals. Ability to effectively present ideas and information in an organized and effective manner, including writing reports. Position Summary: The Occupational Therapist is responsible for assuring that the PNHS values are achieved through daily departmental operations. The Rehabilitation Services Occupational Therapist will communicate timely, clearly and in a professional manner with staff, patients, patient family members, physicians, and other internal/external customers. The staff member will demonstrate skills in listening, conflict management, system problem solving, decision-making and process improvement. Therapists will practice in compliance with professional standards and professional code of ethics. Therapists in the development track will partner with their leader(s) to discuss ways in which the therapist can improve departmental performance through activities involving community events, presentations, and program/department improvement initiatives. The therapist will be given protected time to execute these activities. Participates in basic department development expectations for three professional pursuits, which must be some combination of the following: community event related Park Nicollet, TRIA or clinical profession, a presentation and/or program, project, or committee participation. Work Schedule: 1.00 FTE, 7:30-8:00 start time. 8 hour days. Weekend and holiday rotation with days of during week to compensate. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy Licensed with the Minnesota Department of Health. Preferred Qualifications: Recommend membership in related professional organization such as the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA), the Minnesota Occupational Therapy Association (MOTA), or the American Society of Hand Therapists (ASHT).
