Maintains ongoing communication with immediate Supervisor, subordinates, and peers. * Physicians are contacted promptly, as needed, and outcomes are positive. * Supervisor is kept well informed of pertinent information. Participates in discharge planning. Key Responsibilities Deliver hands-on, active rehabilitation for patients with TBI, post-concussive symptoms, and neurologic functional impairments. Perform comprehensive assessments addressing balance, vestibular function, cervical biomechanics, musculoskeletal dysfunction, and functional mobility. Provide vestibular therapy including gaze stabilization, habituation exercises, balance training, and canalith repositioning techniques when indicated. Implement individualized treatment plans incorporating physical therapy, manual therapy, neuromuscular re-education, and occupation-based strategies. Collaborate with multidisciplinary providers including neurologists, occupational therapists, neuropsychologists, and rehabilitation specialists to ensure cohesive patient care. Record clear, accurate clinical documentation aligned with regulatory and organizational standards. Educate patients on home exercise programs, safety, pacing strategies, and return-to-work/return-to-activity protocols. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of best practices in TBI rehabilitation, vestibular therapy, and functional neurorehabilitation.
