Position Summary: The Occupational, Physical, or Speech/Language Therapist or Social Worker provides assessment, evaluation, intervention services, and strategies to assist families in fostering the growth and development of children birth to three years. This work is performed in a home-based service program designed to directly involve parents in providing an optimal family-oriented social, nutritional, developmental and behavioral program for their child.
Essential Functions and Tasks:
Understand, practice, and promote the vision and core values of Mat-Su Services for Children & Adults.
Provide screening, evaluation, and assessment of developmental performance of children birth to age three in all developmental areas with specific emphasis on areas of professional discipline.
Complete enrollment procedures for children eligible for Infant Learning services.
Develop, monitor, and implement an Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP) that is based on parent goals for their child and family, including family assessment results.
Obtain doctor's orders prior to evaluation and for ongoing therapy when direct therapy is recommended and develop plans of care which meet billing and program requirements.
Assist parents to develop confidence in their abilities as their child's best teacher through joint planning and implementation of functional activities designed to enhance the child's potential for optimum development.
Assist families in coordinating information and communicating with other service providers and community agencies providing assistance to them and their child.
Assist families in transitioning to public or private services when the child reaches age three or when exiting the program.
Work to establish a trusting relationship with families by providing regular contact through home visits.
Participate in ongoing staff development and education, with the approval of supervisor.
Maintain confidentiality of children/families and their records.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records.
Prepare and submit all required paperwork in a timely manner.
Drive to and from family visits, meetings, trainings and other locations.
Ensure compliance with required annual trainings and certifications.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education
Bachelor's Degree in specific discipline and current State licensure or certification.
3+ academic credits in child development.
Master's Degree in Special Education, Early Childhood Education, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech/Language Therapy, or a related field preferred.
Training in Parents as Teachers (PAT), Facilitated Attuned Interactions (FAN), or other course related to home visiting and family coaching models preferred.
Experience
1+ years of experience in a field of early childhood or preschool activity, with children birth age to five, and working closely with parents in forming partnerships to provide services. Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
Experience working in a non-profit or mission-driven environment preferred.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required
Proficient with standard computer operating systems. Ability to navigate Microsoft Office Suite, online databases, and other programs and websites as required.
Ability to effectively communicate in written and oral form.
Willingness and ability to attain a CPR/First Aid Certification.
Can maintain confidentiality while understanding and complying with requirements of mandated reporting, duty to warn, HIPAA, and other limits to confidentiality.
Have the willingness and ability to work outside of normal business hours as well as Holidays and weekends as needed.
Ensure compliance with all MSSCA required ongoing trainings, certifications and background checks.
Flexibility, creativity, and ability to work independently with minimal supervision while organizing and prioritizing work flow.
Demonstrate the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
As needed possess a current and valid driver's license.
Driving record to be assessed by HR.
Licensure, Certification, Registrations and pre-hire requirements: A current TB test, valid Alaska driver's license with two (2) years driving experience, and proof of automobile insurance must be submitted prior to employment. Successful candidates must pass federal, state and local background checks Candidate must also provide three (3) verifiable references.
Work Environment:
Environment: Must be able to work in a variety of home and community environments. Some extensive driving with various road conditions will be required and exposure to a variety of climates. Noise, lighting and odor levels will vary depending on the location in which services are being delivered. Dense staff population often requires sharing workspaces with minimal personal space and noticeable exposure to conversations and other distractions.
Hazards: May have exposure to blood and body fluids while performing your job duties. Unpredictable child and family interactions are also possible
Driving: This position requires driving to and from home visits, meetings, etc., on a variety of road surfaces and all seasonal weather conditions.

Responsibilities
Our OccupationalTherapists/OTs help patients who have debilitating conditions improve the functions of performing everyday tasks in the home. OccupationalTherapists/OTs use treatments to develop the daily living skills of their patients and the basic motor functions of patients, as well as to compensate for any loss of function that patient may be experiencing. Job Description
Currently looking for OccupationalTherapist to fill an opening with an Outpatient facility located around the Anchorage, Alaska area. Interested candidates should have both, previous OT experience, and at least, a Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Therapy, with a passion to work within an outpatient setting while treating pediatrics patients. Responsibilities of the OccupationalTherapist
The OccupationalTherapist facilitates development and rehabilitation of patients with mental, emotional, and physical disabilities by planning and administering medically prescribed occupational therapy.

Dynamic and growing pediatric outpatient therapy clinic is in search of an energetic and skilled physical therapist to join their team on a full time basis. The Wasilla-Palmer area is located in the Mat-Su Valley, about 40 miles outside of Anchorage. This position would be a split between the Palmer and Wasilla offices.
* You' ll work with an all pediatric caseload in a large up to date facility
* Much of the caseload involves development delays in gross motor and motor coordination
* Many of the kiddos are in foster homes
* Clinic is known for helping with feeding and sensory integration
* Multiple clinic locations in the area; they offer speech, OT and PT services
Requirements:
*Alaska license to practice as a PT or eligible
*Strong written and oral communication skills
*Ability to communicate successfully with caregivers, guardians and parents to achieve best outcomes for your patients
*Willingness to travel between clinics as needed and to work in a telehealth format if required

Your Role as a Speech Therapist
As part of the Ancora Therapy Team, you will:
✔ Provide patient evaluations, screenings, and develop personalized treatment plans
✔ Work closely with patients to improve communication, cognitive-linguistic abilities, and swallowing function
✔ Educate patients, caregivers, and families on therapy techniques and self-care strategies
✔ Monitor, document, and adjust treatment plans based on patient progress
✔ Ensure professional conduct aligns with Ancora's commitment to high-quality care
✔ Perform additional duties as needed to meet patient needs
What We're Looking For
✅ Current Speech Therapy License in the state of Alaska
✅ 2+ years of experience (preferred)
✅ Strong verbal & written communication and time-management skills
✅ Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation
✅ Proof of current auto insurance & vehicle registration
✅ Fingerprint clearance card (we can assist with obtaining one)
✅ CPR certification & negative TB test (we can help with these as well)
