In this position, you will work in the outpatient department treating clients of all genders with Pelvic Health issues including pelvic floor dysfunction, pelvic pain and incontinence, as well as developmental, orthopedic and neurological conditions as needed. Primary location will be at our Waltham, with initial training at the Boston location. This position will include regular Saturday coverage after completion of orientation period. Key Responsibilities: Completing comprehensive physical therapy assessment in alignment with department standards and guidelines for pediatric patients. Performing pelvic floor muscle assessment and treatment for patients with pelvic floor dysfunction. Must establish plan of care to achieve established goals relative to age, medical history and dysfunction. Working closely with a team of providers to provide integrated care and follow-up. Demonstrating professional competence and clinical reasoning in assessing patient's condition at the onset and through all phases of skilled physical therapy. Performing diagnostic evaluations upon referral by physician. Verifying appropriateness of referral, contacting physician as necessary.
