    This Physical Therapist (PT) will provide care to young adult thru geriatric populations in a variety of settings to include IP Rehab, SNF, Acute C are (specific to elective total joints) and OP Same Day Surgery. Following physician orders, responsible to assess, develop, and implement treatment plans directed at a minimum to prevention, management of conditions and/or rehabilitation. Treatments focus on returning patients to as normal a pattern of movement and functioning as possible through the use of therapeutic exercise, activity, modalities, and education that improve mobility, relieve pain, increase strength, and improve/prevent/restore impairments and limitations resulting from disease or injury. PT's may be hired for a specific unit but are required to float to all units for coverage. Specialty teams for trained therapists include wound care and lymphedema. Direct care staff are required to complete all Hip and Knee Replacement Program curriculum and annual education module(s) assigned. This role focuses on providing evidence-based, patient-centered care to support recovery of balance, coordination, mobility, and daily functional abilities. Key Responsibilities Deliver hands-on, active rehabilitation for patients with TBI, post-concussive symptoms, and neurologic functional impairments. Perform comprehensive assessments addressing balance, vestibular function, cervical biomechanics, musculoskeletal dysfunction, and functional mobility. Provide vestibular therapy including gaze stabilization, habituation exercises, balance training, and canalith repositioning techniques when indicated. Implement individualized treatment plans incorporating physical therapy, manual therapy, neuromuscular re-education, and occupation-based strategies. Collaborate with multidisciplinary providers including neurologists, occupational therapists, neuropsychologists, and rehabilitation specialists to ensure cohesive patient care. Record clear, accurate clinical documentation aligned with regulatory and organizational standards. Educate patients on home exercise programs, safety, pacing strategies, and return-to-work/return-to-activity protocols. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of best practices in TBI rehabilitation, vestibular therapy, and functional neurorehabilitation. Qualifications Doctor of Chiropractic (DC), Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT), or Master's/Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program. Set appropriate goals for treatment to relieve pain, restore function and prevent disability. Rule out contra-indications to treatment and recommend necessary changes. Select and perform appropriate interventions and treatment techniques. Provide fitting and application of appropriate orthotic devices. Instruct patient in the use of assistive devices and occupational therapy procedures to be continued at home. Monitor the effects of treatment and modify as necessary to achieve maximum benefit. Document initial evaluation and progress report for patient's medical record. Verbally report progress or changes in the patient's condition to the referring physician as appropriate. Validate treatment given for accurate completion of the charge ticket. Provide input or timely scheduling for patients. Provide direction and supervision of COTA and other support personnel. Maintain professional mannerism. Maintain clean, neat and orderly work environment. Attempt to provide for patient comfort and modesty. Communicate tactfully in person or by telephone.
