American Traveler is hiring an OccupationalTherapist with at least 3 years of inpatient acute care experience and active New Hampshire OT license for a hospital-based position.
Responsibilities
Position is in an acute care hospital setting
Work schedule is Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Saturday from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM (4x10 hour shifts)
Patient population includes adults with arthritis, CVA, dementia, neurological disorders, orthopedic injuries, Parkinson's, spinal cord and traumatic brain injuries
Duties include adaptive equipment assessment, community re-entry, cognitive assessment, evaluation, reassessments, and pre-discharge planning
Epic is used for documentation and experience is required
Unit orientation is provided by the manager at the clinic
First-time travelers will be considered
Travelers must not have any prior employment with any SolutionHealth facility
Local candidates within 50 miles are accepted at reduced pay rate
Main responsibilities include patient/family education, discharge planning, injury prevention, and home assessments
Adherence to safety and injury prevention protocols is expected
Orientation and support provided by the department manager
Requirements
Current and valid New HampshireOccupationalTherapist license (license required if applicable)
Current BLS certification from AHA or Red Cross required
Minimum 3 years of recent inpatient OT experience required
Experience with Epic EMR required
Professional references required for consideration
