How you'll contribute
The OccupationalTherapist is responsible for assessing patients' ability to perform daily living and occupational tasks safely and effectively. Based on the evaluation, the therapist develops and implements individualized plans of care, utilizing appropriate therapeutic modalities and techniques. Progress is monitored and documented through subjective and objective measures, with modifications made as necessary. The OccupationalTherapist provides education to patients and their families or caregivers regarding functional deficits, adaptive strategies, and the use of assistive equipment. Additionally, the therapist plays a key role in discharge planning and supervises certified occupational therapy assistants and therapy technicians in accordance with state laws and professional standards.

We are seeking a licensed Chiropractor or Physical Therapist with at least one year of hands-on clinical experience, preferably working with patients recovering from traumatic brain injury (TBI) or post-concussive conditions. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills in active rehabilitation, vestibular therapy, and functional movement-based treatment. This role focuses on providing evidence-based, patient-centered care to support recovery of balance, coordination, mobility, and daily functional abilities.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver hands-on, active rehabilitation for patients with TBI, post-concussive symptoms, and neurologic functional impairments.
Perform comprehensive assessments addressing balance, vestibular function, cervical biomechanics, musculoskeletal dysfunction, and functional mobility.
Provide vestibular therapy including gaze stabilization, habituation exercises, balance training, and canalith repositioning techniques when indicated.
Implement individualized treatment plans incorporating physical therapy, manual therapy, neuromuscular re-education, and occupation-based strategies.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary providers including neurologists, occupationaltherapists, neuropsychologists, and rehabilitation specialists to ensure cohesive patient care.
Record clear, accurate clinical documentation aligned with regulatory and organizational standards.
Educate patients on home exercise programs, safety, pacing strategies, and return-to-work/return-to-activity protocols.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of best practices in TBI rehabilitation, vestibular therapy, and functional neurorehabilitation.
Qualifications
Doctor of Chiropractic (DC), Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT), or Master's/Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
Active state license in good standing (or license eligibility).
Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in outpatient orthopedics, neurology, vestibular rehab, or related fields.
Experience working with traumatic brain injury, concussion, or complex neurologic presentations strongly preferred.
Proficiency in hands-on assessment and treatment, including soft-tissue work, joint mobilization, corrective exercise, and neuromuscular retraining.

PTs must have exceptional interpersonal and reasoning skills, and strive to be positive examples of health and wellness for their patients. PTs are expected to keep abreast of best-practice and utilize research evidence to make clinical decisions in conjunction with patient preferences and clinical experience.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Examines, assesses, and implements plans of care including elements of exercise prescription, advice and education, health and wellness promotion, manual therapy, and other biopsychosocial physical agents.
2. Evaluates effects of physical therapy treatments using written scales, examination procedures, and patient interviews.
3. Modifies plans of care depending on daily progression, regression, and constant data gathering. Also helps direct and inform the care of patients by physical therapist assistants as deemed appropriate.

5. Assures continuation of therapeutic plan following discharge by designing home exercise programs; instructing patients, families, and caregivers in home exercise programs; and recommending and/or providing assistive equipment.

How you'll contribute
