Our acute services are centered out of Samaritan's Regional Medical system, a 160 bed, level 2 trauma center. Our outpatient clinic features cutting edge equipment, custom splinting stations, a Sanet Vision Integrator, a therapy pool with an underwater treadmill and separate adult and pediatric gyms. We also offer outpatient services at the Pastega Regional Cancer Center. All outpatient services are one-on-one and feature therapist-driven treatment times.

How you'll contribute
A Physical Therapist who excels in this role:
Performs initial and ongoing assessments of patient's condition.

About the Position
We have an opportunity for an Outpatient Therapist to provide clinical services at our Downtown Clinic in Medford, Oregon. The Outpatient Therapist reports to the Outpatient Clinical Manager for day-to-day supervision and work assignments. In this position, you are responsible for performing a Provisional Assessment for individuals experiencing crisis. The Outpatient Therapist will also provide clinical oversight and consultation to facility staff and liaison with other community providers. In addition, you will receive crisis de-escalation training, which requires performing various physical, hands-on maneuvers and techniques. If desired, the Outpatient Therapist will be eligible to participate in our supervision toward licensure program after their successful completion of the 90-day introductory period.

About the Program

Description:
We are seeking a dedicated Dietitian to assess, plan, and implement nutritional care plans for patients based on medical needs. The role involves conducting nutritional assessments, educating patients and families, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams. A minimum of 2 years of recent clinical dietetics experience is required.
This position may involve weekend/holiday rotations and department floating. Compliance and onboarding typically take 4-6 weeks. Voice screening and hiring manager interview are required. Missed shifts must be made up as required by the department.

Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate patients' speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing abilities.

Required Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), or eligibility to obtain.
State-specific license or certification (as required).
Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Preferred Qualifications:

Bilingual or multilingual abilities.
Knowledge of augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) systems.
