Minimum Qualifications Education: * Licensed Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) Experience: * Minimum five (5) years of experience in AAC and Assistive Technology service provision * Demonstrated expertise in alternative access technologies and accessibility across devices and platforms * Experience working with ALS and/or other neurodegenerative conditions * Strong communication, problem-solving, and interdisciplinary collaboration skills Licensure / Certifications: * OTR/L licensure required * ATP Certification (Assistive Technology Professional) preferred or willingness to pursue Preferred Skills & Knowledge: * Knowledge of major AAC systems (e.g., Smartbox, Tobii Dynavox, PRC-Saltillo, iPad-based AAC apps) * Experience configuring and supporting switch access, eye tracking, and custom mounts/adaptations * Familiarity with funding pathways, including Medicare/Medicaid documentation requirements * Ability to train and support patients both in-person and remotely, where license/hospital regulations allow What We Offer: * A collaborative, innovative team environment * Ongoing professional development and support * Competitive salary and benefits package for full-time employees * Opportunities to contribute to research, training, and education initiatives The posted pay range is Boston Children's reasonable and good-faith expectation for this pay at the time of posting. Any base pay offer provided depends on skills, experience, education, certifications, and a variety of other job-related factors.
