About this Position:
As an OccupationalTherapist in our outpatient clinics, you will have the time and resources to provide one-on-one carewith 45-minute treatment sessions, ensuring high-quality interactions and better patient outcomes. With a maximum of 10 patients per day, you'll have the opportunity to focus on delivering personalized care without the burden of overwhelming caseloads. We also offer flexible scheduling options, including weekends and holidays off, to help you maintain a healthy work-life balance.
In this role you will be responsible for examining, evaluating and testing individuals with mechanical, physiological and developmental impairments, functional limitations, and disabilities or other health and movement-related conditions in order to determine a diagnosis, prognosis and plan of treatment intervention, and assess the ongoing effects of intervention. The OT is also responsible for alleviating impairments, functional limitations and disabilities by designing, implementing and modifying treatment interventions. Additional responsibilities include reducing the risk of injury, impairment, functional limitation and disability, including the promotion and maintenance of fitness, health and wellness in populations of all ages. The OT will be engaged in administration, consultation, education and research. The OT will be expected to conduct themselves in an effective professional behavior manner. The attributes, characteristics or behaviors required for success in this job include: critical thinking, communication, problem solving, interpersonal skills, responsibility, professionalism, use of constructive feedback, effective use of time and resources, stress management, and commitment to learning.

Our licensed physical, occupational, and speech therapists work closely with medical teams to create individualized treatment plans tailored to each patients unique needs. Beyond core therapy services, we offer a variety of specialty programs including neurological rehabilitation, vestibular and balance therapy, lymphedema management, pelvic health therapy, and oncology rehabilitation. With services spanning acute care, skilled nursing, home health, and outpatient settings, our team delivers exceptional, evidence-based care that restores function and enhances quality of life.
What this Position Requires:
Education: Baccalaureate Degree in Occupational Therapy.
Experience: No previous job experience required.
Certification: BLS (American Heart Association / Basic Life Support).

Work in a home health setting providing skilled visits to adult patients
Day shift position from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday
Patient caseload includes med/surg, cardiac, orthopedic, post-surgical, neuro, and respiratory conditions
Home skilled visits range from a minimum of 6 to 8 per day, with caseloads adjusted at manager discretion
Visits are self-scheduled based on the needs of the HomeCare office
Use of BayCare Forms, BayCare Scheduling, Ace Timesheet documentation system, and equipment including laptop, MiFi, and portable printer
Responsibilities include patient assessment, ADL training, cardiac rehab, splinting, edema massage, feeding techniques, TENS, ultrasound, prosthetic/orthotic management, orthopedic and neuro rehab, and patient/family education
OASIS training is preferred
Serve a patient population with diverse needs including orthopedic, cardiac, neurological, and post-acute diagnoses
Flexible scheduling with self-scheduling of visits and hours
Solid color scrubs required
Documentation and billing through BayCare-specific systems
Mandatory use of PPE as required
Requirements

The Opportunity:
We are seeking a Licensed Speech Language Pathologist/Therapist (ST) to join us as an independent contractor (1099). This is a PRN, contract role, ideal for clinicians looking to work flexible hours and earn competitive rates without a full-time commitment. You'll be responsible for providing care to patients in their homes, promoting recovery, safety, and independence.
The Location:
This opportunity covers Lake to Marion Counties.
What You'll Do:
Provide in-home Speech Therapy care to patients recovering from illness, surgery, or injury.
Perform Medicare OASIS documentation including:
Start of Cares (SOC)
Recertifications
Resumption of Care (ROC)
Discharges
Evaluations
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with patients and caregivers.
Communicate and coordinate with interdisciplinary team members.
Pay Structure:
Contract Pay: The proposal rate is dependent on the year of experience, market rate, and territory coverage.
Contractor Obligation: This contract role does require two days per week of coverage/visits
What You Bring:
Active and unencumbered Florida Speech Language Pathologist/Therapy License (required)
Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance (required)
LLC/S Corp. (required)
Work Comp or exemption policy (required)
Liability Insurance (required)
OASIS experience (required)
CPR Certification (required)
Strong clinical judgment and excellent communication skills.
