Under his leadership, OPT also successfully launched the hybrid PowerBuoy® for shorter-term missions and suitable for a wider variety of marine solutions, an autonomous surface surveillance solution for maritime domain awareness applications, and an environmentally friendly subsea battery solution that maximizes power capacity for subsea payloads.Prior to joining OPT in 2015, George served as Senior Vice President for the energy business unit at AECOM Technology Corporation, where he and his team provided full power generation and power delivery project life-cycle services in the U.S. energy market. Prior to his role at AECOM, George was Vice President of Utility Services at SAIC Energy, Environment & Infrastructure working with electric utilities in the North American market. George held a number of senior management positions at American Superconductor, GE Energy Financial Services, and GE Power & Water.George currently serves on the board of the Mystic Aquarium Sea Research Foundation. He is a registered professional engineer in the state of Texas, a certified Six Sigma Black Belt, and he has authored several patents in power generation technology. He and his wife have two children and reside in New Jersey.

Mr. Keller is currently an independent director of ThermoEnergy, Inc., a company engaged in the worldwide development, sales and commercialization of patented and/or proprietary municipal and industrial wastewater treatment and power generation technologies. Mr. Keller previously served as President, Chief Executive Officer and Director of Global Power Equipment Group Inc., a comprehensive provider of power generation equipment and modification and maintenance services for customers in the domestic and international energy, power infrastructure and service industries, from September 2009 until his retirement in June 2012 and, following his retirement, continued to serve Global Power Equipment Group Inc. as a consultant until March 2013. Mr. Keller served as the President and Chief Operating Officer of The Babcock & Wilcox Company (“B&W”), a wholly owned subsidiary of McDermott International, Inc., from March 2001 until his retirement in June 2007. Mr. Keller’s prior position was President of Diamond Power International, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of B&W, from March 1998 to February 2001. During his tenure with B&W, Mr. Keller served as a Board Chairman or Director of subsidiaries and joint ventures in the People’s Republic of China, Denmark, the United Kingdom, Australia and South Africa. Mr. Keller holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from the University of Akron. He brings to the Board of Directors a comprehensive knowledge of the power generation industry. In addition to his experience and understanding in the industry, Mr. Keller also has significant executive management experience, having directly overseen sales, manufacturing, accounting, legal, supply chain and personnel functions of a business whose revenues reached approximately $2 billion under his management.
