The Centralized Recruiting Coordinator is responsible for providing internal and external recruitment support for Non-Exempt, hourly paid store positions for Ocean State Job Lot
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: * Support Store Leadership with execution of best practices, communication, hiring, and process implementation * Accurately execute staffing process to achieve short-term and long-term staffing goals * Post positions as needed on local and public platforms, such as job boards, following Company and branding guidelines * Administer initial review, schedule, and monitor interviews for a high volume of applicants * Maintain interview and orientation schedules for stores while updating the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) * Create and process high volume of candidates through the ATS in a short period of time * Initiate background authorization and request background notice and authorization form from applicants where applicable * Support multiple stores with coordination and scheduling of new hires for consistent on-boarding through the ATS * Maintain confidentiality with all records and information * Update communication and documentation in the ATS * Execute effective communication on staffing activities with applicants and provide staffing updates to Talent Acquisition leadership as needed * Ensure compensation guidelines are followed when offers are made to Non-Exempt associates * Ensure recruitment reports are kept current with the most up-to-date recruitment status information Effectively utilize virtual means to communicate efficiently and work independently under remote conditions as applicable Requirements EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: * Previous Human Resources experience preferred * Prior retail experience and or high volume recruiting * Recruitment experience using an Applicant Tracking System * Experience in high volume staffing * Weekends and evenings sometimes required during seasonal times depending on the needs of the business * Proficient with Microsoft Office and Google platform (i.e. sites, slides, drive, docs, sheets) ATTRIBUTES: * Communicator: You possess strong communication skills and enjoy working with customers and coworkers. * Team Oriented: You are capable of embracing the ideas of others (even if they conflict with your own) for the sake of the Company and client. * Self-motivated: You can work with a minimum of supervision and be capable of strategically prioritizing multiple tasks in a proactive manner. * Flexibility: You are able to remain flexible under demands of the job, including hours worked.
