Position Summary
The position of Sr. Hydrographic Surveyor exists for the purpose of carrying out required tasks in the field for survey projects, as requested by manager or Party Chief. The Hydrographic Survey Technician will perform all assigned tasks to the best of their ability with a wide degree of creativity and latitude. This position is responsible for assuring that the Party Chief or managers needs are effectively met regarding field activities, and that all tasks are performed efficiently, responsibly and in accordance with safe work procedures.
The most important and essential function of this position is attitude and includes the following: getting along with co-workers, responding politely to members of the community, working as a team member, functioning well under pressure, responding in a positive manner to supervision, and maintaining inter-office confidentiality. A willingness to learn and take an active role in this process.
Offshore position located in the Gulf of Mexico and other remote global locations. Ability to travel domestically and overseas as assigned.
Duties And Responsibilities
* Measure, map and collect data on the topography of underwater environments with the use of cutting-edge specialized equipment and advanced techniques to produce detailed charts and maps describing the physical features of riverbeds, shores and the sea floor.
* Actively collect data and QC data that will be used in making hydrographic models.
* Use developed techniques like multibeam sonar, sidescan sonars, sub bottom profilers, and various conventional methods of towing operations.
* Proficient with a variety of field concepts, practices, procedures and equipment operations such as GPS, Navigation Software, USBL, MBES, Side Scan Sonar, Subbottom data, AUV surveying principles and geotechnical acquisition principles.
* Attending and participating in the shift handover and HSE meetings are required.
* Assisting with and maintaining reports.
* Understanding of AUV technical operations.
* Operate and maintain USV/DriX platforms for hydrographic, oceanographic, and environmental data collection.
* Conduct pre- and post-mission planning, including route optimization, payload configuration, and data validation.
* Monitor real-time telemetry and vehicle health during missions, ensuring safe and efficient operations.
* Perform routine and corrective maintenance on USV systems, including propulsion, navigation, and communication components.
* Collaborate with survey teams to integrate USV data into broader geospatial workflows.

Qualifications
REQUIRED
* High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required.
* Three (3) to Five (5) years' experience in the Survey or Geoscience industry as a Survey Professional.
* Must have or be able to obtain TWIC card (Transportation Worker Identification Credential).
* Must be able to obtain a valid Passport and any other regionally mandated offshore work requirement documents as appropriate.
* Must be proficient with mechanical and electrical equipment.
* Experience with autonomous marine systems, preferably USV/DriX or similar platforms.
* Familiarity with hydrographic survey equipment (e.g., multibeam echosounders, ADCPs, side-scan sonar).
* Proficiency in mission planning software and remote monitoring tools (e.g., iXblue's DriX interface, QINSy, Hypack).
* Strong understanding of GNSS systems, inertial navigation, and data telemetry.
* Ability to interpret technical schematics and perform mechanical/electrical diagnostics.
* Willingness to travel and work in field environments, including offshore or remote locations.
* Relevant certifications (e.g., STCW, First Aid, USCG credentials) are a plus.

The NDT Technician - Trainee will perform industrial inspections support onshore/offshore of piping, pipelines, pressure vessels, and mechanical and structural components, and other inspection-related duties. Program Overview
TechnipFMC Field Service Technician Apprentice Program is a 12-week course designed to provide a comprehensive foundation for becoming a Field Service Technician across all Surface locations in the US. This program is designed as an introduction into a highly skilled career in the Oil and Gas Industry, supporting Drilling, FRAC, and Aftermarket Services. The program includes a blend of instructor-led training, self-administered learning, and hands-on experience in both shop and field settings. Job Description
* Field Service, assembly, and repair of new, reman and customer property.
* Works independently to install new products and conduct repairs of TechnipFMC equipment ensuring no rig lost time for our customers while controlling expenses and maintaining assets of TechnipFMC.
* Handles customer complaints in a professional manner.
* Maintains communication with Company Representative on issues including job procedures, spare parts requirements, function fit and critical dimension measurements.
* Assures all equipment, service tooling and spare parts are on location and ready to use and functions fit prior to beginning each job. Records critical dimensions to ensure assembly will work and obtains and reviews product running procedures.
* Provides "Project Support" as required, for all new projects which includes attending design review for equipment and tools, reviewing installation procedures, assisting with project Factory Acceptance Tests and reviewing project training requirements for service personnel.
* Prepares and submits Field Service Orders and other region required reports after each job is complete. Completes a Tally Book or other forms to communicate procedures, spare parts, critical dimensions and customer questions and complaints.

Position Summary

Duties And Responsibilities
* Perform NDT inspections, including UT, MT, PT, and VT, on offshore and onshore piping, pressure vessels, and equipment.
* Analyze and interpret testing results to identify defects, anomalies, or structural issues.
