Position Summary
The Systems Engineer applies a working knowledge of systems engineering fundamentals to provide guidance to the division's engineering and design activities under the direction of a Program Manager. The Systems Engineer will be required to interact with other OTECH personnel and the client to guide engineering efforts to meet the client's requirements. The Systems Engineer will provide guidance to engineering design efforts through the development of systems engineering documentation, including: concepts of operations, requirements specifications, interface control documents and drawings, hazard analysis, test plans and procedures.

Qualifications
REQUIRED:
* BS degree in relevant engineering discipline: Electrical, Computer, Mechanical or Systems Engineering.
* Minimum 10 years of practical experience in Systems Engineering.
* Must have greater than 10 years of experience practicing System Safety Engineering
* Minimum 5 years of experience at the design engineering level with:
* Developing sections of systems engineering documentation, including system engineering plans, initial capabilities documents, requirements specifications, and interface control documents.
* Managing system requirements and derived requirements to ensure the delivery of production systems are compatible with the defined system architectures, including Department of
* Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF and Service-oriented Architecture (SOA).
* Assisting with the development of system requirements, functional requirements, and allocation of the same to individual hardware, software, facility, and personnel components.
* Participating in the development of system engineering documentation, including system engineering plans, requirements specifications, and interface control documents.
* System requirements and stakeholder needs, including functions that may be logically inferred and implied, as essential to system effectiveness.
* Candidate will have to perform in an ISO-9000 rated company in a rapidly changing and demanding atmosphere.
* Must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of leadership and work bot independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
* Must have demonstrated and be willing to independently manage multiple tasks with various stakeholders in parallel i.e., assess design changes, field reported issues, system deficiencies, 'pop-up' tasking, etc.

Computer Skills :

* Working knowledge of MBSE tools (ModelCenter, Cameo).
PREFERRED:
* Work experience with US Department of Defense (DoD) or the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA).
* Specific to UCA: Experience with rapid prototyping, agile development methodologies, and time-sensitive acquisition processes.

PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION
The Sr OT Systems Security Engineer (OTSSE) will support implementation of the Operational Technology (OT) Security Governance program and provide proactive cyber security risk management. The OTSSE will act as a liaison to OT teams, Security Architects and other CISS teams to effectively communicate and lead OT security engineering design specification, architecting and implementing effective OT security solutions. The OTSSE will also assist with vulnerability mitigation plans, incident response, and security event monitoring engineering support. The OTSSE will ensure the implementation of OT security measures in accordance with established procedures to ensure safety, reliability, confidentiality, integrity, availability, authentication, and non-repudiation, and will perform OT security reviews to identify gaps in security design and architecture.

Primary Duties:
PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
Provide analytical and technical security recommendations to other team members, technical teams, and business clients, including: Provide OT cyber security guidance to leadership. Work with stakeholders to design OT security design specifications and architectures. Provide input to implementation plans and standard operating procedures as they relate to OT cyber security.
Develop specific OT cyber security countermeasures and risk mitigation strategies for systems and/or applications.
Work closely with technical teams to implement effective security configurations/requirements, including:

Mitigate/correct security deficiencies identified during Factory Acceptance Testing, Site Acceptance Testing, and/or recommend risk acceptance for the appropriate senior leadership. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Design and implement technical solutions using data and software to meet business objectives. Primary products include wind and solar resource assessment, energy assessment, techno economic analysis, and forecasting analytics.
Serve as the primary data engineer for inputs to and outputs of internal energy assessments and techno economic analysis.
Development of back end and front end data products and services
Serve as developer of Applied Meteorology's internal SDK and ecosystem of integrations. Responsibilities include architecture, environment management, development, secrets management, testing, CICD, documentation and training, and ensuring operability with other internally developed tools.
Design, deploy, own, monitor and maintain scheduled Met and GIS workflows within Pattern's Enterprise Architecture, in close collaboration with the Enterprise Technology team.

Assisting the Chief Engineer and other engineering personnel in operating and maintaining the vessel's machinery, including engines, generators, pumps, and refrigeration systems.
Performing regular inspections, maintenance, and repairs on mechanical equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
Monitoring and troubleshooting engineering systems to identify and resolve any issues that may arise during the voyage.
Following safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment for the crew and the vessel's cargo.
Collaborating with other crew members to coordinate operational activities and ensure smooth functioning of the vessel.
Requirements/Qualifications:

What you'll do…
As an Infrastructure Engineer at Enchanted Rock, you'll design, implement, and support highly available, secure server infrastructure, virtualization, and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS). You'll manage Windows and Linux servers, identity services (Active Directory / Microsoft Entra ID), automation, and lead network initiatives including SASE/SD-WAN and Fortinet administration. You'll automate operations, harden identity and access controls, and improve disaster recovery and business continuity. In partnership with Security and cross-functional teams, you'll deliver resilient, high-availability services that enable the business.
You'll make an impact by:
Owning core Active Directory / Microsoft Entra ID services (MFA, Conditional Access), DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy in a hybrid on-prem/cloud environment.
Provisioning, configuring, and maintaining Windows and Linux servers (on-prem and in cloud), including patching, hardening, performance tuning, and backups/recovery.
Managing and supporting Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions for secure provisioning, policy enforcement, and lifecycle management across various platforms and vendors.
Automating operational tasks using RMM and scripting (PowerShell, Python) to monitor systems and networks, streamline patching/maintenance, and accelerate incident response.
Designing, configuring, and implementing SD-WAN and SASE solutions (CATO and similar) across sites.
Deploying and administering firewalls, VPNs, and security appliances (FortiGate, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer).
Defining and enforcing Zero Trust/SASE controls and ensuring compliance with corporate and regulatory requirements.
Monitoring network performance and managing device lifecycle (firmware, patches) to ensure high availability.
Working with cross-functional and cybersecurity teams to implement best practices, deliver IT projects, and respond to incidents.
Partnering with vendors and service providers on escalations, upgrades and managed services.
Developing and maintaining documentation, diagrams, SOPs, runbooks, and knowledge base articles for IT and support teams.
You'll sweep us off our feet if you:
