Stuart Archer is a skilled executive with expertise in multi-state and multi-site hospital operations, with extensive healthcare experience in the long-term acute care and post-acute care settings.

Archer joined Oceans Healthcare, a behavioral health provider focused on the healing and long-term recovery of older adults and seniors, in November 2014. Most recently, he served as chief operating officer at LifeCare Management Services, a pioneer in long-term acute care with 24 hospitals across nine states. There, he led all aspects of the company’s day-to-day operations. Prior to joining LifeCare, Archer served more than a decade as Senior Vice President of Market Development for LHC Group, a leading national provider of post-acute care services with 350 locations across 29 states.

In addition to his work with Oceans, he is a member of the Board of Trustees of the National Association of Psychiatric Health Systems, an advocacy organization committed to working to ensure public policies, laws and regulations that support the needs of people who live with mental and addictive disorders

Since joining Oceans Healthcare in 2016, Scott has worked to help the company and its affiliated hospitals identify which policies, procedures and operational efforts are working and what improvements need to be made to provide the best possible patient care.Above all else, Scott has a passion for eliminating the stigma surrounding mental health treatment, particularly for the geriatric population. He firmly believes it is necessary to expand access to inpatient geriatric psychiatry to meet the mental health needs of the “golden wave” of baby boomers surviving to older ages when mental disorders, like dementia, become more common.Prior to joining Oceans Healthcare, he served as executive vice president of advisory solutions technology and labor optimization at MedAssets, Inc., where he was responsible for leading three strategic business units and growing revenue. He began his career as an accountant and quickly advanced to assume positions of leadership. Gressett earned his bachelor’s in business administration from Texas A&M University.He holds board memberships with several international charities and organizations dedicated to women’s health and vulnerable children in the third world.
