About the Role

You'll kick off your tenure with a comprehensive design sprint in Q1 2026, consolidating fragmented organizational knowledge and building shared conviction around where to invest.

In this role, you'll:

Compensation & Benefits:
The expected base pay range for this position is $215,900 - $254,000, based on a variety of factors including qualifications, experience, and geographic location. Must possess a minimum of three (3) years of documented protective security experience. A Service-2 or Member-4 copy of the DD-214 must be provided for applicants using U.S military service as applicable experience.
Protective security experience is defined as a personal bodyguard, a designated security member of convoy or movement operations, or security services experience while actively carrying a firearm. The candidate will be the technical owner of various product lines based on technical expertise. Duties/Responsibilities:
* Responsible for all aspects of given product line(s) by developing and maintaining requirements of the design
* Submit and carry out Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) effective and efficiently
* Coordinate with manufacturing engineering and operations teams for:
* Design for Manufacturing, Cost, Assembly
* First Pass Yield (FPY) Improvements
* Design custom cartridges for customer specific applications utilizing specialized software to create models and drawings of products
* Work with customers, distributors, integrators, etc. to answer technical questions and specify appropriate cartridge utilization
* Provide technical guidance and expertise on design related issues
* Drive the project management of new applications from initial conception to final commissioning/in-field testing through to production release
* Prepare and deliver presentations at reviews and meetings
Required Skills/Abilities:
* Hands-on capability to carry through the complete project from conception to final sign-off by the customer
* Ability to understand complex mathematical relationships that underpin mechanical analysis
* Ability to read and interpret blueprint documents
* Ability to proficiently utilize CAD/3-D Modeling Software
* Ability to coordinate and communicate tasks across a wide range of cross-functional teams

Education and Experience:
