Pros of working at Odyssea Marine

Odyssea is no different than any other company. Make no mistake priority number one is making money with the boats. Everything else is second including safety, moral, crew changes, and repairs.

Cons of working at Odyssea Marine

Odyssea cares more about getting warm bodies than qualified bodies. About like any other company in the gulf. Once you are on the vessel little to no assistance with crew changes to get you off the vessel. They really don’t care if you stuck offshore working over. You get paid for a 12 hour shift but often required to work over due to understaffing of the vessels. Especially the 100t vessels. Kick the can down the road approach to repairs.

Very open easy going work environment, do there best to accommodate people on work time on and off the boat.

Small company with older equipment, not a lot of big boats to move around to.
