    Job Description: Physical Therapist Reports to: Clinical Manager The Physical Therapist organizes and conducts physical therapy programs for the agency to facilitate rehabilitation. He/she directs client participation in selected tasks to restore, reinforce, and enhance performance. In addition, the Physical Therapist facilitates the learning of those skills and functions essential for promoting independence and productivity, in order to diminish or correct pathology. He/she directs activities to promote and maintain health. Essential Functions: Evaluates clients, develops appropriate treatment goals and methods, implements the physical therapy treatment plan, and completes all related documentation and record keeping regarding these services. Services include application of therapeutic techniques in areas such as gait, ambulation, muscle strength, coordination, endurance, mobility, posture control, sensory awareness, sitting and standing skills, balance and orientation. Designs and fits adaptive devices and trains clients in the use of adaptive devices including splints and orthotics. Designs and fits adaptive devices, and trains clients in the use of adaptive devices including orthotics and prosthetics. Selects physical agent modalities suited to the individual's needs, physical capacity, mobility activities and diagnosis. Consults with other members of the rehabilitation team to select the most appropriate therapeutic regimen consistent with the needs and capabilities of each client. Instructs client in the skills and techniques required for participation in mobility activities, and evaluates client progress, attitudes and behavior as related to Rehabilitative potential. Adapts program according to the needs of individual client. Promotes a safe environment and enforces the elimination of fire and safety hazards. Attends and contributes to client care, staffing conferences and other related meetings.. Supervises supportive personnel in accordance with state and professional standards. Conducts training programs and participates in training medical, nursing and other personnel in physical therapy techniques and objectives. Orders supplies and equipment as necessary. Cleans, maintains, identifies, and reports the need for repair of equipment as necessary. Puts customer service first: ensures that residents and families receive the highest quality of service in a caring and compassionate atmosphere which recognizes the individuals' needs and rights. QUALIFICATIONS: The Physical Therapist must be a graduate of a physical therapy curriculum accredited jointly by the Council on Medical Education of the American Medical Association and the American Physical Therapy Association and certified by the American Physical Therapy Association under its requirements. He/she must be able and willing to practice physical therapy per state guidelines. Must possess good organizational and time management skills. Must have good verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities * Data Collection: Gather real-time data during games and events, including player performance metrics, team statistics, and game outcomes. * Data Analysis: Analyze collected data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can inform team strategies, player development, and performance improvements. * Reporting: Create detailed statistical reports and summaries for coaches, players, media, and other stakeholders. * Present findings in a clear and concise manner. * Database Management: Maintain and update statistical databases, ensuring accuracy and completeness of all records. * Software Utilization: Use specialized software and tools to record and analyze sports statistics. * Stay updated on the latest technology and methods in sports analytics. * Collaboration: Work closely with coaches, analysts, and other team staff to provide data-driven insights and support strategic decision-making. * Quality Control: Ensure the accuracy and reliability of all statistical data by conducting thorough checks and validations. * Research: Stay informed about industry trends, new statistical methods, and advancements in sports analytics. * Conduct research to enhance the quality and scope of statistical analysis. * Training: Train and mentor junior staff or interns in data collection methods and analytical techniques. * Game Preparation: Prepare pre-game statistical packages and post-game reports, including player statistics, team performance metrics, and historical comparisons. * Compliance: Ensure all data collection and reporting activities comply with league regulations and standards. * Perform all other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Qualifications * Must be currently employed at the GCC to join this transition group. * Education: Bachelor's degree in Sports Management, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, or a related field. * Experience: Previous experience in sports analytics, statistics, or a related role is preferred. * Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. * Proficiency in statistical software and tools (e.g., Excel, R, SAS, SPSS). * Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. * Strong written and verbal communication skills. * Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. * Knowledge of various sports and their specific statistical requirements. * Attributes: Passion for sports and data analytics. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Strong organizational and time management skills. * Flexibility to work irregular hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, depending on the sports schedule.
