Odyssey Systems has an exciting new opportunity for an Acquisition Logistics Support Senior supporting the Helicopter Program Office (HPO) at Wright Patterson AFB, OH. The HPO supports selected helicopter programs including the HH-60W Combat Rescue Helicopter (CRH) and the MH-139. Responsibilities
Duties include, but not limited to:
Assist in developing and documenting recommended logistics inputs for PWSs, Request for Proposals (RFPs) and Contract Data Reporting Lists (CDRL) for assigned programs.
Collect and analyze data to provide advice and recommend solutions; provide technical expertise, recommendations, and advisory assistance to the Government in the day-to-day management of the 12 product support/integrated logistics support (ILS) elements: Sustaining/Systems Engineering; Design Interface; Supply Support; Maintenance Planning and Management; Support Equipment/Automatic Test Systems; Facilities; Packaging, Handling, Storage and Transportation; Technical Data Management/ Technical Orders; Manpower and Personnel; Training; Computer Resources; and Protection of Critical Program Information (CPI) and Anti-Tamper Provisions.
Identify product support concerns, risks, and issues; provide recommended courses of action, routinely reviewing, and monitoring all product support elements; and perform analyses to ensure program supportability.
Prepare for and participate in program reviews, meetings and/or working groups.
Gather and compile information to support briefings/working group meetings, preparing briefing charts, assisting in finalizing meeting minutes, and tracking action item resolution.
Prepare budget estimates and evaluation of cost, schedules, performance, and program risks.
Evaluate change proposals, draft directives, military specifications, and standards for logistics program impacts resulting from each proposed change.
Assemble Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM)/Supplier CPARS inputs.
Support briefings, letters, and planning/coordination support for meetings.
Conduct research and perform analysis necessary to assist in determining the ability of hardware/software designs to meet rotary wing system reliability, maintainability, availability, deployability, sustainability, survivability, standardization, and interoperability requirements.
Assist in monitoring OEM/Supplier Interim Contractor Support (ICS) planning for the weapon system until it becomes organically, or contractor supported.
Monitor/track supply support requirements and provide recommendations designed to ensure the required supplies to establish an organic rotary wing capability are properly procured, stock listed and available to meet reliability, availability, maintainability, supportability, and deployability requirements.
Support the development of the maintenance concept and requirements for the life cycle for all levels of maintenance.
Review and assess the Support Equipment/Automatic Test Systems (SE/ATS) programs and make recommendations to the Government to ensure proper SE/ATS is available by the established need date. Additionally, the Contractor will review, evaluate, process, and track Support Equipment Recommendation Data (SERDs).

The contractor shall provide additional support, under an optional T&M position, as needed for transition or other specialized expertise.

Contribute to the field units through active participation in professional conferences, publications of peer-reviewed manuscripts, and presentations to a variety of audiences.

Provide DOEHRS-HC and Data Repository Management Support.

Install desktop software, provide desktop support at the customer's location as required, such as adding workstations to the domain, troubleshooting hardware issues, installing drivers; desktop support includes Windows and Red Hat Linux workstations and mobile computing.
Coordinate with other duty sections such as hardware technicians and software administrators when additional Level 2 or Level 3 support is required, physically or remotely log into the system and execute prepackaged Microsoft Installers (MSIs) or follow prescribed flowcharts/checklists.
Assist Air Force Network (AFNET) Enterprise Service Desk (ESD) with resolution of Remedy trouble tickets.
Prepare approved software for deployment through the SCCM software application center.
For Software (SW) titles not compatible with remote deployment technology, provide clear and precise installation instructions to the SW License manager.
Comply with Cybersecurity Certificate to Operate (CTO) processes.
Provide documentation for all SW deployment packages.
Follow all Branch SOPs outlined at division levels for SW deployment packages, to include patch management process outlined with Network Operations.
Update existing SW deployment packages when cybersecurity vulnerabilities are identified.
Work with the customer SW License Manager to track all licensed SW.
Maintain software file share, Package software for the customer Application Catalog for SIPRNET and JWICS.
Utilize the customer trouble ticket tracking system (Microsoft System Center Service Manager) and the Enterprise Service Desk (ESD) Trouble Ticketing system (e.g. Remedy) to track all customer requests.
Assist in maintaining necessary interface with other Government agencies, industry, and external IT support agencies to remain cognizant of new and existing information technologies and system integration demands and requirements. Provide monthly functional area reports summarizing work accomplished, work planned in next month and important issues occurring during the month.
