We're looking for a Packaging Operator to join our Production team on 1st shift. In this role, you'll be hands-on in preparing, packaging, and ensuring high-quality products that reach customers worldwide. Main aspects of the role include:
Operate and monitor production equipment, and lead activities of others working on the line, ensure efficient and safe operation.
Perform machine changeovers, adjustments, and minor troubleshooting as needed.
Conduct basic maintenance and cleaning of machines according to SOPs.
Maintain production flow and report equipment or process issues promptly.
Accurately complete production records and quality checks in real-time.
Ensure all documentation complies with company policies, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and regulatory standards.
Enter production data into digital systems (e.g., MES, ERP, or spreadsheets) as required.
Identify and correct documentation errors or escalate them to supervisors as needed.
Report non-conformances or quality concerns immediately.
Hourly pay: $25.00
Schedule: Monday- Friday -1st shift 6:45am-3:15pm

Electrical License Required - Journeyman License or Supervisor License
Perform tasks and PM's related to Electrical needs of facility
Leads safely by following SOP's, LOTO, PPE's, Fall Protection and Confined Spaces to achieve plant and departmental goals.
Perform metal fabrication, cutting, welding and finishing.
Performs Electrical PM's on Baggers and equipment
Electrical knowledge preferred of bulk flour systems. (Transfer blowers, air-locks, diverter valves, sifters, etc)
PLC Experience preferred - can be trained
Use shop and hand tools safely and properly.
Climb ladders, access platforms from 6 to 75 feet, occasionally.
Lift, push, and pull using proper techniques up to 50 pounds frequently and up to 200 pounds occasionally.
Work in confined spaces, underneath, over and next to moving equipment safely.
Can walk and stand for work periods for up to 10 hours when needed with 2 - 15 minute breaks and 1 half hour lunch break. **Overtime required to cover department absences / work up to 12 hours with 3 - 15 minute breads and 1 half hour lunch break
Ensures compliance with all company policies.
Works in tandem with maintenance/planner to maximize the effectiveness of the maintenance work order system to utilize MP2.
Performs all electrical preventative maintenance on equipment as scheduled

Install, debug and stabilize plant equipment as required

Perform electrical repairs and upgrades of machinery and equipment to ensure proper operations

Read and interpret HMI panels to troubleshoot production line faults

**Responsibilities**
As part of the SHOR team you'll be responsible for...
+ Assist with administrative duties within the Human Resources and Environmental, Health and Safety Departments.

+ Assist with any government inspections including but not limited to OSHA, Health Dept., Building & Safety, etc
+ Conducts workplace and environment health and safety inspections and recommends corrective actions

**Qualifications**
+ HS diploma or Equivalent
+ Minimum of (3) years of similar Human Resources experience and/or EHS experience.
+ Strong oral and written communication skills; proven track record in teamwork and effective collaboration
+ Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, employee policies and procedures, handbooks, and benefit information.

**Responsibilities**

**Responsibilities**
_The primary duties and responsibilities of the Packer Handler consist of, but are not limited to, the following:_
+ Maintain a safe, clean and organized work area
+ Inspect product to ensure quality. Set aside product that is below quality standards. Work closely with Team Leader and alert Mold Tech and Supervisor of any quality issues or reject conditions. Watch molds for irregularities or sticking. Timely response to quality issues is key to this position.
+ Complete assembly of product by installing gaskets in lids and handles in containers as required while keeping up with the production machines cycles.
+ Flame containers and lids when required.
+ Stack and pack product per instructions that vary with different customers and orders
+ Prepare proper product identification and/or packaging labels
+ Assist with material handling and other tasks as needed
+ When the machine experiences an interruption in production, the Packer Handler will take this available time to clean up oil, sweep, mop, make boxes or other tasks that may be assigned by the Team Leader or Supervisor.
+ Accurately complete any required paperwork

**Responsibilities**
**:** _The primary duties and responsibilities of the Team Leader consist of, but are not limited to, the following:_

+ Part handling requirements include inspections, hot stamping, handle installation, gasket installation, and packing per instructions. Inspection of product, verification of pull-apart, stacking product onto tray packs, labeling and documentation of finished product and transfer from presses to staging for shrink wrap.
+ Responsible for maintaining production supplies such as bags, gaskets, handles, labels, tray packs, and TPI's.
+ Exhibit leadership skills, develop and apply training skills, use problem-solving abilities to handle situations that may arise in the workplace, motivate and communicate with Packer Handlers and Machines Operators, alert Mold Techs and Shift Supervisor of safety, quality, machine, raw material, packaging, documentation or production concerns.

The primary duties and responsibilities of the ISO/SQF Representative consist of, but are not limited to, the following:

Performs Electrical PM's on Baggers and equipment
Electrical knowledge preferred of bulk flour systems. (Transfer blowers, air-locks, diverter valves, sifters, etc)

Climb ladders, access platforms from 6 to 75 feet, occasionally.
