ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The following information is intended to describe the overrall nature and scope of the work being performed in relation to the position. This is not a comprehensive listing of all of the responsibilities or tasks; other work may be assigned and deemed appropriate:
Know and understand all Adult Education Programs: ESL, ABE, GED, James H. Groves, and Alternative HS programs: Twilight, credit recovery, and summer school.
Work and demonstrate a pleasant, cooperative attitude, and professionalism in dealing with other staff members, students, parents, and district staff.
Performs essential duties as assigned and works closely with administrators, data and records specialists, and secretaries on various projects, programs, monitoring, and assignments.
Assist with gathering all relevant information and documentation and create a concise record-keeping system.
Assist with creating systems, procedures, and policies that are in compliance of grant funding and programming monitoring.
Answer the phone, take, and deliver messages to appropriate staff.
Attend State Quarterly Update Meetings with the Delaware Department of Education (DDOE) and attend biweekly Data for Tuesday State Meetings (DDOE).
Work with the administrator and data and records specialist on the DDOE's platforms, Schoology, LACES, and websites to upload required documents:
Input monitoring and budgetary information in databases
Enter data such as, but not exclusive to grades and attendance, into LACES
Assist in monthly professional development and staff meetings.
Utilize LACES, Schoology, eSchool, and email as needed and assigned.
Any other assigned duties
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Below are the qualifications for this position:
Experience
Experience in working with K-12 and Adult Education programs.
Experience with Adobe, Microsoft Office Suite, and Google Docs.
Experience analyzing grants, programming and student data, records management, financing, and budgeting, and maintaining accurate records for internal and external local, state, and federal agencies.
Experience with eSchool, LACES database, or similar electronic records systems.

Summary Statement This position supports the unit by documenting and verifying client information, monitoring communications, and responding promptly to inquiries. Coordinates brief screens, completes warm handoffs, and maintains accurate case records. Utilizes Microsoft Office, Teams, and EHR systems while preparing reports and notes. Delivers excellent customer service in-person, electronically, or by written communication.
Greets and directs visitors and answers calls, which may include serving as part of a call center team or on a front desk operation.

Sorts, codes, scans, uploads, logs, and indexes, data/information.
Files, tracks, and retrieves physical, electronic, and digital files, documents, data, or other information.

Pay Range Information
The pay range for this position is listed below. Local minimum wage laws apply.
