POLICE OFFICER LATERAL SALARY/BENEFITS: Placement within the Police Officer Pay Plan will be based on experience and within the pay range of:
$30.0843/hour ($62,575.42 /year) - $42.3314/hour ($88,049.33/year).

* Patrols assigned areas; enforces State and local laws and ordinances; maintains a community presence and/or responds to calls for service and takes appropriate action
* Responds to calls related to the protection of life and property, traffic incidents, and other public safety emergencies
* Responds to calls which include domestic incidents, burglaries, juvenile disturbances, health and welfare assists, civil stand by, business and residential alarms, thefts, civil protection orders, bomb threats, hazardous material spill and other public safety incidents

Oral Board Interview/Chief's Interview
Candidates that pass the initial application review will be invited to an oral board interview and possibly Chief's interview. Tentative dates for oral boards are set for October 22nd and 23rd 2025. As part of the application process the applicant will be required to complete the United States Secret Service Applicant Physical Abilities Test (APAT). It is a physical fitness assessment which consists of four components (push-ups, sit-ups, Illinois Agility Run and a 1.5 Mile Run). The APAT is designed to measure the current level of general physical fitness of an applicant, which serves as an indicator of an applicant's ability to safely complete a vigorous physical training program. It evaluates the applicant's ability to perform the physical tasks required on the job by measuring muscular and dynamic strength, endurance, flexibility, aerobic capacity and other factors related to physical aptitude. General Medical Requirements: As determined by OPM the duties of this position require moderate to arduous physical exertion involving walking and standing, use of firearms, and exposure to inclement weather. Manual dexterity with comparatively free motion of fingers, wrist, elbows, shoulders, hips and knee joints is required. Arms, hands, legs and feet must function sufficiently in order for applicants to perform the duties satisfactorily.

* Recruitment Incentive: Applicants may be eligible for a $40,000 recruitment incentive in accordance with regulatory requirements. The first installment of $15,000 will be paid following successful completion of Secret Service Criminal Investigator training. A second installment of $10,000 will be paid following one year of service post training and an acceptable performance rating. The final installment of $15,000 will be paid after a third year of service post training and an acceptable performance rating. Provision of these payments require the execution of a three-year Continued Service Agreement (CSA) with the agency. Newly hired employees who resign from the USSS prior to the expiration of the CSA will be required to repay the recruitment incentive. (NOTE: Eligibility is limited to "Newly appointed" Federal employees as defined by 5 CFR 575.102).
Applicants selected for this position will be required to sign a CSA before being assigned to an initial training class. The CSA will commit the applicant to a specified period of employment with the Secret Service upon the successful completion of training.
Applicants will be required to travel to all phases of the hiring process at their own expense. If a final job offer is extended, relocation expenses will not be authorized for first duty location.

Job Summary:
We are actively seeking talented individuals for Correctional Officer positions for our Tucson/Douglas Commitment starting at our Tucson (Tucson, AZ) facility. A one-year commitment will begin on the date you start at the Tucson Complex. You may be offered an earlier opportunity for transfer to ASPC-Douglas based on availability.
This position is scheduled for up to a sixteen-hour day, including four hours of paid travel time. Schedules are based on operational needs and are subject to change. You will report to ASPC-Douglas, where a vanpool will transport you to ASPC-Tucson for your scheduled work day. You will work your shift and then return to ASPC-Douglas.

Duties: Support to HSI Arizona Homeland Security Task Force counternetwork analysis team in support of targeting and call-chain analysis efforts on behalf of Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) Arizona SAC Intelligence Division. Majority of work will be expected to be performed within the SCIF environment under the direction of a Supervisory Criminal Anlayst (GS-1805).
Duty Description: HSI is the principle investigative arm of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security(DHS) and the second largest investigative agency in federal government. ICE has more than 20,000 employees in more than 400 offices in the United States as well as 47 foreign countries around the world. Additional information can be found: *************************************************************** HSI is responsible for investigating a wide range of domestic and international activities arising from the illegal movement of people and goods into, within, and out of the U.S. HSI Criminal Analysts work in partnership with special agents and other federal, state, and local enforcement agencies to investigate:

* Narcotics Trafficking;
* Counterproliferation, Weapons Trafficking and Sensitive Technology Exportation;
* Financial crimes;
* Human Trafficking;
* And other crimes exploiting the U.S.'s travel, trade, financial and immigration systems.
Individual will be asked to support ongoing TCO investigations and target development leveraging U.S. law enforcement communication exploitation systems and databases and integration of IC resources to illuminate the network. Ideal candidates will be able to do so through an understanding of communications technology and analysis; social networking; apply new techniques to develop targets; and craft reports of analysis to document findings.
Position Expectation: This is a non-reimbursable JDA. Most work will be conducted in offices in Scottsdale, AZ and/or Tucson, AZ, but some local travel may be required. Most work will be conducted during normal business hours (M-F 7:30AM-4:00PM). The selected candidate will be detailed to the position at his or her current grade and salary.
