Reporting to our QEHS Manager, we are seeking a highly experienced EHS Officer to ensure compliance and continuous improvement with our environmental, health and safety systems, ensuring compliance with all US regulations. This role focuses on risk assessment, incident prevention and fostering a strong safety culture across all operations, inclusive of our manufacturing facility and site installation programs for our data-centre clients. The ideal candidate will be a pro-active person with significant hands-on experience in implementing and validating EHS systems and validating regulatory compliance. This role is critical in scaling our US operations, enhancing and ensuring world-class EHS performance on behalf of our customers.
What You'll Be Doing:
Compliance & Regulatory Management:
· Ensure adherence to local and international EHS regulations, standards, and company policies.
· Maintain up-to-date knowledge of legislation relevant to electrical switchgear assembly and testing.
· Manage and validate our internal system documentation is in an audit-ready state at all times.
· In conjunction with our QEHS Manager, participate in customer / regulatory audits as schedule dictates.
· Utilize a hands-on, collaborative leadership style to your peers, always leading by example.

Risk Assessment & Hazard Control:
· Conduct regular risk assessments for our office and assembly environments, testing and site installations.
· Implement robust controls / training for electrical testing, arc-flash hazards and general assembly risks.
Incident Management & Reporting:
· Investigate accidents, near-misses and unsafe conditions, implementing corrective and preventive actions as required.
· Provide accurate, timely and consistent department reports, identifying clear escalation paths / solutions.
· Co-ordinate with your Irish counterpart to align / standardize processes to develop a ‘One CEL' approach.
· Maintain accurate KPIs and records, preparing internal / external reports as required.
Training & Awareness:
· Promote a culture of safety and environmental responsibility across the organization.
· Deliver EHS training programs for employees, focusing on electrical safety, PPE usage, and emergency response.
· Promote a proactive safety culture through toolbox talks and awareness campaigns.
· Keep abreast of the developments in regulatory standards, ensuring internal systems are kept up to date.
Environmental Management:
· Monitor waste disposal, recycling and emissions compliance.
· Support sustainability initiatives and ISO 14001/45001 certification processes.
Must-Have Skills, Experience, and Education:
· Degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, or related field.
· Professional certifications (e.g. NEBOSH, IOSH, ISO 45001 Lead Auditor) preferred.
· 5+ years EHS experience in electrical, automotive, aerospace or medical devices industries.

The work as a Deputy in the Virginia Beach Sheriff's Office involves performing a variety of duties either in corrections/jail, inmate transportation, civil process, classification, records, Courts, and/or other law enforcement duties.

This position will play a key role in enhancing agricultural sustainability, economic viability, and community well-being to the area farming communities.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and deliver educational programs, workshops, and resources for Extension agents and agricultural producers that promote innovative agricultural practices to increase farm productivity and efficiency.
Assist Extension agents and agricultural producers with cost-benefit analyses, budgeting, and financial planning, as it relates to the cost and sustainability of agricultural innovation.
Conduct economic assessments of agricultural practices, projects, and business decisions to help local farmers maximize their profits.
Collaborate with Virginia Tech specialists to conduct field trials and research programs to assess the economic impact of innovative farming practices.

Job Duties
Norfolk State University's Police Department is responsible for the safety and security of all members of the University community. NSU invites applicants to the position of Police Officer.
The incumbent is responsible for enforcing the laws of the Commonwealth, the rules and regulations of the University, and providing a safe and secure environment for all members of the community.
To complete agency training programs and certifications to fully sworn officers advancing to perform senior law enforcement activities. Conduct independent patrol, inspections, arrests, evidence compilation, preservation, reports, testifying in judicial proceedings, education presentations and training. Responsible for investigation as well as training, coordination and assigning work within their field of assignment or expertise.
Norfolk State University Police Department is seeking certified / lateral officer transfers for applicants who possess or have possessed a Virginia law enforcement certification within the past three years.
$4,500 signing/retention bonus for serving three years of continuous service upon employment
Candidates can expect routine duties and responsibilities to include:
1. Conduct security patrols of campus buildings, grounds and assigned sectors/perimeters.
2. Enforce University rules and regulations and the ordinances of the Commonwealth.
3. Investigate matters of complaints, accidents, and alleged crimes and complete reports as required.
4. Respond to emergency situations to include administering first aid.
5. Patrol assigned sectors on foot, bicycle, and vehicle in efforts to detect and prevent crimes.

Criminal History:
1. Conviction of any felony or any crime involving moral turpitude (crimes contrary to justice, honesty, or good morals).
2. Conviction of any Class 1 or Class 2 misdemeanor, including traffic violations, or the Virginia State Law equivalent within the last five (5) years.
3. Any conviction of domestic violence.
4. Any individual falling into any of the aforementioned criminal history categories, prior to conviction, that enters a plea agreement or other form of sentencing disposition to the reduction of charges will be disqualified from the entry process.
5. Commission of undetected crimes of a serious or repetitive nature.
Traffic Violations:
1. Five (5) or more negative points on a Virginia Operator's License or the equivalent for out of state licenses, and/or two (2) moving violations in any state within the last twelve (12) months.
2. Any conviction of driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol, refusal to take blood or breath test, eluding police, racing, or reckless driving or leaving the scene of an accident within the last five (5) years
Drugs:
1. Any use or involvement in the sale or distribution of illegal drugs.
2. Illegal possession of anabolic steroids within the last five (5) years.
3. Illegal possession and use of marijuana or a derivative thereof within the last twelve (12) months.
4. Illegal possession and use of heroin, cocaine, hallucinogens or any other schedule one (1) or two (2) drug, or any derivative thereof, as defined in the Code of Virginia within the last ten (10) years.
