Responsibilities include: Proficient in report writing Familiar with loss prevention techniques Ability to enforce student life and parking regulations Performs regular patrol of campus grounds, including locking and unlocking campus buildings Possesses sufficient physical stamina for foot patrols and standing for long periods of time Must be able to work overtime as necessary Must be able to pass a background check and criminal history Must be able to drive college vehicle Knowledge of first aid techniques very desirable Ability to deal effectively with a wide range of individuals, in some instances under stressful, dangerous and/or emergency conditions Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently Performs other duties as assigned Requirements: High School diploma, or equivalent, required Associate's degree in criminal justice preferred Previous security experience preferred Authorized to drive university vehicles
