As a Financial Services Officer, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional financial services to our members. What You'll Do
Member Services & Financial Consultation:
Assist members with financial transactions and account services.
Interview members to assess their financial needs and recommend appropriate products and services.
Process loan applications, deposits, withdrawals, and other account-related transactions.
Notarize documents, research accounts, perform account maintenance, open deposit accounts (consumer, business, IRA), originate loan applications, inform members of loan decisions, explain loan documents to members. Update member account records as needed, maintaining accurate records of member transactions.
Sales & Relationship Building:
Actively promote credit union products and services that align with member needs.
Engage in sales development training and activities to enhance service offerings.
Stay informed about consumer credit trends and market conditions.
Maintain necessary licensing for the sale of specific financial products.
Regularly contact members via email and phone to maintain relationships, share sales opportunities, and follow up on teller referrals.
Compliance & Operational Support:
Ensure adherence to UKFCU policies, board-established guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
Maintain confidentiality of member and employee information.
Assist in resolving member concerns and escalate complex issues when necessary.
Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices.

The Scott County Sheriff's Department is seeking a POPS certified peace officer to protect and serve the people of the county in all aspects of law enforcement and to comply with all statutory duties required by law. As a deputy sheriff the candidate selected will: 1) patrol county roads in a patrol car with responsibilities for traffic control, investigate criminal complaints, prevent and detect crime or disturbances of the peace, investigate and assist with traffic accidents, and enforce the laws of the state of Kentucky and ordinances of the county and process all violators thereof; 2) attend court, keep order and carry out orders of the courts; 3) Transport prisoners and convey all persons to the state penitentiary in execution of the sentence of the courts and execute all orders of the court in regards to conveying of prisoners; 4) execute and serve civil and criminal process of the courts; 5) collect property taxes as required by law.
Position requires possession of a high school diploma or GED and two years of related law enforcement experience. Candidates must also be a POPS certified in accordance with the KLEC. In addition, applicants must also be 21 years of age, possess a valid driver's license for the current state of residence, be willing to reside in the county after appointment and be of good moral character and have no felony convictions. The starting pay for the position is at least $25.75/hr. with a higher starting wage possible contingent upon possession of related degrees and/or experience. Minimum annual starting pay $56,100 plus $4,429 annual training incentive. The maximum pay is $65,500 for candidates with 20+ years of experience and/or related degrees plus the $4,429 annual training incentive.

Level Descriptor:
At this level, employees serve as correctional security lieutenants with primary responsibilities for the security operations on an assigned shift or unit within a correctional facility or hospital security unit, with responsibility for the supervision of first-level supervisors who are responsible for individual units or activities on the assigned shift and coordination of all shift functions and operations. Employees assigned to this level who are working within an institution may be charged with independently performing a specialized function requiring advanced proficiency in the use of chemical agents or firearms, a high degree of judgment and skill as an inmate public work crew officer, gun gang officer, K-9 unit officer, transportation officer, restricted housing unit officer, mental health unit officer, key and tool officer, control room officer, visiting room officer, gate officer, activities officer, hospital security posts, or may serve as the team commander of the Correctional Emergency Response Team.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Competencies:
Knowledge, skills and abilities required at this level include knowledge of supervisory methods and techniques; of staffing patterns and scheduling the distribution of staff and work assignments; of methods and objectives of discipline required for inmates under restraint; of the psychology of inmate behavior; of the use and care of firearms; of proper restraint methods and techniques; of the fundamentals of English usage; of basic math; and of report writing techniques. Ability is required to establish and maintain effective working relationships; to follow oral and written instructions; to gather and organize facts and complete clear, concise reports; to quickly evaluate a situation and adopt an effective course of action; to exercise alertness and be able to act quickly in an emergency; to effectively communicate security techniques; to maintain proficiency in firearms; and to assess and manage conflict resolutions within the inmate population.
Education and Experience:
Education and experience requirements at this level consist of three years of experience in correctional officer or security work for a government or private corrections agency and the following statutory requirements of 57 O.S. § 510: a. The minimum age for service shall be twenty (20) years of age. The director shall have the authority to establish the maximum age for correctional officers entering service and b. possession of thirty (30) semester hours from an accredited college or university; or possession of a high school diploma acquired from an accredited high school or GED equivalent testing program and graduation from a training course conducted by or approved by the Department and certified by the Council on Law Enforcement Education and Training either prior to employment or during the first six (6) months of employment.
Note: Successful completion of the GED test is based upon standards established by the Oklahoma Department of Education.
Special Requirements:
Per 57 O.S. 510 applicants/employees in this job family shall be subject to the following additional requirements: (a) be of good moral character; (b) before going on duty alone, satisfactory completion of an adequate training program for correctional officers and guards, as prescribed and approved by the State Board of Corrections; and (c) satisfactory completion of a physical in keeping with the conditions of the on an annual basis and along the guidelines as established by the Department of Corrections.
Applicants must possess a valid driver's license at the time of appointment in order to perform necessary travel.
Applicants will be subject to drug testing.
Applicants must be willing and able to work any assigned shift or day of the week.

The Scott County Sheriff's Department is seeking an entry level officer to protect and serve the people of the county in all aspects of law enforcement and to comply with all statutory duties required by law. As a deputy sheriff the candidate selected will: 1) patrol county roads in a patrol car with responsibilities for traffic control, investigate criminal complaints, prevent and detect crime or disturbances of the peace, investigate and assist with traffic accidents, and enforce the laws of the state of Kentucky and ordinances of the county and process all violators thereof; 2) attend court, keep order and carry out orders of the courts; 3) Transport prisoners and convey all persons to the state penitentiary in execution of the sentence of the courts and execute all orders of the court in regards to conveying of prisoners; 4) execute and serve civil and criminal process of the courts; 5) collect property taxes as required by law.
Position requires possession of a high school diploma or GED and preferably some related college coursework, law enforcement, corrections, or security experience. In addition, applicants must also be 21 years of age upon graduation date from the law enforcement academy, possess a valid driver's license for the current state of residence, be willing to reside in the county after appointment and be of good moral character and have no felony convictions. The starting pay for the position is $22.00/hour with an increase to $25.75/hour when training is complete and POPS certification is confirmed.
