Monitor all facilities within Treasure Island Resort & Casino, including gaming areas and back of house operations for the detection and video recording of illegal or unusual activities such as cheating, theft, embezzlement or other activities which may be suspicious or threatening to guests or team members
Monitor all gaming-related areas including Table Games, Slots, and Cash Services for potential cheating activity, advantage play and illegal activity
Oversee and verify large payouts by the Casino such as jackpots and bingo payouts
Follow established procedures and immediately notify the Surveillance Director, appropriate departments or law enforcement authorities upon detection of suspicious activities or irregularities
Create detailed, accurate reports and maintain a daily log of activities observed and / or reported to Surveillance
Maintain professional and effective communication with all public service officials and internal department representatives

Required Knowledge and Certification:

Summary of Position
The Public Safety Officer is responsible for fostering and maintaining a safe learning and working environment for the Augsburg University Community. This environment is attained through proactive patrol of the campus buildings and ground and through positive interactions with the community we serve.
Available Officer Schedules
Overnight shift: 10:00PM - 6:30AM
Days the officer is scheduled are negotiable, and regularly scheduled weekend shifts are required.
Primary Responsibilities
Creating and maintaining a safe learning and working environment for members of the Augsburg University Community.
Provide required services to the Augsburg University Community, including: walking or driving escorts, locking and unlocking of campus buildings according to class schedules and events, and providing information and assistance to the community as needed.
Respond to emergency and non-emergency requests for assistance. Initiate and coordinate Police, Fire, and EMS response as needed.
Monitor campus activities and facilities through proactive patrol and observation.
Identify after hours' facilities issues and assist in the coordination of emergency maintenance response.
Prepare required incident reports completely and accurately for all security and safety related activities.
Regularly monitor and use critical infrastructure systems, including: CCTV systems, fire alarm panels, automation systems, alarms, access card systems, and parking enforcement systems.
All other duties as apparent or assigned by supervisor(s).

Typical work environment is continually changing. Includes working in both indoor spaces and outdoors for long periods of time in varying weather conditions.

Organizational Location: This position is located in the Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, Enforcement and Removal Operations, within the 25 FOD locations and are assigned based on the needs to the agency ERO Field Offices.
As a Deportation Officer at the Entry Level you will work with more experienced officers to provide support and perform the following segments of work related to immigration investigation, custody, identification and location, arrest, prosecution and deportation:
* Assist with the apprehension of individuals that are accused of violating immigration or related laws;
* Assist with preparing investigative reports in sufficient detail and accuracy to support possible prosecution and/or administrative action;
* Perform law enforcement support duties such as taking fingerprints and photographs;
* Conduct routine interviews using various law enforcement methods and techniques (e.g., observation, interviews, document inspection, data analysis, etc.) to respond to a variety of immigration inquiries and complaints; and
* Document, transport, deport, and/or escort criminal and non-criminal migrants under the guidance of a more senior officer.
* Initiate both criminal and civil prosecutions and deport migrants to foreign countries as well as performing various aspects of custodial operations related to civil immigration enforcement.

You qualify for the GL-5 grade level if you possess one of the following:
Experience: Three (3) years of progressively responsible general experience, one (1) year of which was equivalent to at least a GS-4, in the Federal government. The experience must demonstrate the ability to: analyze problems to identify significant factors, gather pertinent data, and recognize solutions; plan and organize work; communicate effectively orally and in writing; and deal effectively with others in person-to-person situations. Physical Abilities Assessment: All applicants must pass the PAA prior to graduation from FLETC. The PAA consists of two parts: Criterion Task Test (CTT) and a 1.5 mile run. The CTT consists of a timed obstacle course that involves a vehicle exit, barrier surmount, low crawl, window egress, stair climb, repeat crawl, pre-cuffing position, 175 lbs. dummy drag, repeat barrier surmount, and a sprint. The CTT is then followed by a 1.5 mile run in 14 minutes and 30 seconds or less.
Motor Vehicle Operation: You must possess a valid state driver's license and be able to drive an automobile or light truck. You may also need to obtain and maintain a state commercial driver's license to operate an over-the-road bus capable of transporting 30 or more persons.
Age Restrictions: The date immediately preceding an individual's 40th birthday is the last day to be referred for selection (PL 93-950 and 100-238). However, the age restriction may not apply to individuals who are qualified preference-eligible veterans or who are currently or have previously served in a federal civilian (not military) law enforcement position covered by 5 U.S.C. 8336(c) or 5 U.S.C.§ 8412(d).
Training: Candidates selected will be required to attend and successfully complete the ERO Basic Immigration Law Enforcement Training Program located at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC). DO training is approximately 50 days in duration. Please note, in accordance to ERO Training policy 11158; no one will be permitted to attend more than two ERO Academy training sessions.
NOTE: Employees who do not successfully complete basic immigration law enforcement training and are terminated from training are ineligible to return to the ERO Academy for training, unless selected as a law enforcement officer under a different vacancy announcement. No one will be permitted to attend more than two ERO Academy training sessions.

, plays a pivotal role in fostering a welcoming, inclusive, and secure atmosphere for both guests and staff at our Event Center, Orpheum, Pantages, State and Dudley Riggs Theatres. This individual is tasked with safeguarding the assets and property of the organization while upholding a professional demeanor. It is crucial for the specialist to engage actively in on-street duties, facilitating positive interactions with unhoused individuals in the vicinity. The aim is to ensure that our neighbors experience a sense of welcome and safety, maintaining a crime-free environment around the sidewalks and providing unimpeded access to our facilities for guests and employees alike.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Community and Patron Engagement
Provide essential care by offering snacks, water, coffee, and first aid supplies to unhoused individuals, ensuring these resources are available as needed to support their well-being and comfort.
Foster a safe, welcoming, and inclusive atmosphere for all guests and employees.
Warmly greet and, if necessary, register guests; provide clear directions and maintain a superior level of customer service.
Welcome employees and, upon request, accompany them to parking ramps, bus stops, or train stations to ensure their safety.
Maintain safe, crime-free, and clean sidewalks and entryways, ensuring that both guests and employees have unobstructed access to the building.
Systems and Protocols
Safeguard the property and assets by controlling access to the buildings.
Adhere to all relevant laws, as well as company policies and guidelines.
Respond effectively to emergencies and challenging situations, prioritizing the safety of guests and employees.
Conduct security patrols and checks as required or on a scheduled basis.
Compile and submit incident reports detailing any occurrences or observations.
Relay information about trends and issues to management to inform strategic decisions.
Maintain communication with district partners and entities such as the
Downtown Improvement District
(DID), providing updates on specific situations as necessary.
Requirements:
