Job Title: Stewardship Officer ( Remote)
Main Function:
The Stewardship Officer, commonly known as a Major Gifts Officer, is a full-time position responsible for securing major ($50,000+), principal ($1M+), and planned gifts in support of the Lambda Chi Alpha Educational Foundation. The qualified candidate selected for the job will join a team of dedicated fundraising professionals working in a high-paced, donor-centered culture.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain a portfolio of 100-125 major, principal, and planned gift prospects according to annual goals for personal visits and giving outcomes.
Establishes and coordinates individualized identification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship plans for donors and prospects.
Engages in direct donor solicitation of major, principal, and planned gifts
Prepares external correspondence and internal contact reporting in a professional and timely manner
Ensures donor information and files are maintained appropriately, accurately, and with strict confidence.
Organizational Chart:
Reports to the Stewardship Director of the Educational Foundation.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required.
Fundraising experience preferred, or equivalent sales, marketing, or nonprofit experience required.
Ability to travel 50% of the time or more at peak fundraising times.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to appropriately and comfortably manage sensitive and confidential high-level donor information.
Superb oral, written, and presentation skills.
Initiative and independence in carrying out responsibilities.
Experience utilizing prospect / client management database.

General Medical Requirements: As determined by OPM the duties of this position require moderate to arduous physical exertion involving walking and standing, use of firearms, and exposure to inclement weather. Manual dexterity with comparatively free motion of fingers, wrist, elbows, shoulders, hips and knee joints is required. Arms, hands, legs and feet must function sufficiently in order for applicants to perform the duties satisfactorily.
Additional information
* Recruitment Incentive: Applicants may be eligible for a $40,000 recruitment incentive in accordance with regulatory requirements. The first installment of $15,000 will be paid following successful completion of Secret Service Criminal Investigator training. A second installment of $10,000 will be paid following one year of service post training and an acceptable performance rating. The final installment of $15,000 will be paid after a third year of service post training and an acceptable performance rating. Provision of these payments require the execution of a three-year Continued Service Agreement (CSA) with the agency. Newly hired employees who resign from the USSS prior to the expiration of the CSA will be required to repay the recruitment incentive. (NOTE: Eligibility is limited to "Newly appointed" Federal employees as defined by 5 CFR 575.102).
Applicants selected for this position will be required to sign a CSA before being assigned to an initial training class. The CSA will commit the applicant to a specified period of employment with the Secret Service upon the successful completion of training.

As a result of the duties associated with this job, there is the potential of becoming exposed to blood borne pathogens and other potentially infectious diseases. To safeguard employees and eliminate the liability placed on Hamilton County, employees working in this position shall begin the three shot Hepatitis B vaccination and subsequent training within 10 days of their initial job assignment per OSHA 29 CFR 1910.1030(f)(2)(i). The initial and two subsequent vaccinations shall be administered by the Hamilton County Health Department and free of charge to the employee. If the employee has previously received the three shot Hepatitis B vaccination, official documentation must be provided to the supervisor identifying the dates in which each shot was appropriately administered. 2. Pushups: Hands are placed slightly wider than shoulder width apart, with fingers pointed forward. Starting from the up position (elbows extended, only hands and feet touching the floor) the back must remain straight at all times. The applicant must lower their body to the floor until their chest touches the administrator's fist. The applicant then returns to the up position. This is one repetition.
3. Vertical Jump: Applicant jumps as high as possible and marks the highest point of their jump by touching a measuring stick. The applicant may only move one foot prior to the jump and must jump from both feet. The arms may thrust upward. Measurement is the total inches above the standard reach point.
4. 1.5 Mile Run: Applicant Runs or walks for a distance of 1.5 miles in 16 minutes 28 seconds or less.
5. 300 Meter Run: Applicant runs 300 meters in 71 seconds or less.

Compensation range is $18.50-$22 per hour depending upon experience. Job Summary: The Environmental, Health, & Safety (EH&S) Manager will work alongside other key EH&S, Compliance, and Operations members to help in preventing work injury and supporting production by maintaining a safe work environment through limiting exposure to chemicals, physical, biological, weather-controlled conditions, and ergonomic risks to personnel. EH&S Supervisor will help in overseeing and coordinating the EH&S program of the facility, while supervising and assessing hazardous risk personnel work in daily.
Duties, Functions and Responsibilities: The following duties are illustrative and not exhaustive. The omission of specific statements of duties does not exclude them from the position if the work is similar, related or a logical assignment to the position.
Maintain all EH&S required records and documentation to remain in compliance with regulations and standards.
• Supply, train, and verify that personal protective equipment (PPE) such as hearing protection and respirators are available to personnel, and monitor use to ensure proper fit and use.
• Conduct and oversee safety meetings, trainings and tailgates.
• Keep good relations and communicate with EH&S laboratories used for analysis. ? Take samples and follow proper EPA State guidelines for laboratory analysis as needed.
• Work with Insurance Claims Adjusters on active, litigated, and closed claims.
• Prepare Workers Compensation Claims forms, on injured employee claims.
• Evaluate situations where a worker has refused to work on the grounds that danger or where potential harm exists, and determine actions required for minimizing the risk or hazard.
• Review facility for EH&S hazards such as exposure to radiation, air contaminants, chemical, and biological hazards.
• Assist with Industrial Hygiene Monitoring, communicate results of air and noise monitoring with all employees.
• Assist Loss Prevention assure security measures are upheld within the applicable areas where sensitive client/customer information is stored.
• Ensure EH&S checklist are completed as required and report any issues to proper personnel
• Ensure housekeeping throughout the facility to maintain safety and cleanliness
• Maintain OSHA 300 records for the facility
• Review physicians' reports, and conduct worker studies to determine if a job-related injury.
• Inspect warehouse with a view towards keeping safe work practices and the proper use of PPE.
• Inspect all departments in relation to environmental, health, and safety on a frequent basis.
• Inspect loading and unloading and forklift traffic in shipping and receiving bi- hourly.
• Inspect material and waste storage relative to egress, ingress, stacking, and crowding.
• Assist Loss Prevention review security measures to protect ERI assets and watch for theft.
• Provide first aid for injuries and maintain blood borne pathogens program.
• Remain informed on government regulations pertaining to waste types stored and handled at facility.
• Maintain all OSHA and environmental requirements for trainings and postings.
• Train and review on Job Safety Analysis for high hazard job positions and equipment.
• Train and review personnel on company EH&S programs, procedures and Best Management Practices.
• Communicate compliance issues to management and effectively manage corrective actions.
• Maintain CPR/AED and Standard First Aid Certification.
• Report any ideas for efficiency and continuous improvement to facility leadership.
• Adhere to all safety and compliance regulations and standards.
