The Reentry Support Specialist, position works in the Residential Reentry Program impact area. As a Reentry Support Specialist, you will be part of a multi-disciplinary team working to provide a safe, secure, humane environment for individuals finishing prison sentences in the Federal Bureau of Prisons (BOP) who are releasing to this area. Quality Reentry Support Specialist staff are an important element of the BOP's, and VOAOHIN's efforts to provide a constructive, positive, yet controlled pre-release opportunity for individuals returning to society. Your duties will include a variety of tasks. You will help maintain physical security of the program by conducting pat searches of individuals as well as building and vehicle searches. What You'll Do: Provide customer service by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed. Monitor and control access to the manufacturing and industrial location, verifying credentials and authorizations for entry and exit.
