Duties
During the course of their careers, Uniformed Division Officers carry out assignments in protection. Duties include:
Providing protection for The White House Complex, The Vice President's Residence, The Main Treasury Building and Annex, and foreign diplomatic missions and embassies in the Washington, D.C. area.
Traveling in support of the Presidential, Vice Presidential, and foreign heads of state/government missions.
Enforcing mandated protective responsibilities as described under Title 18, United States Code, Section 3056A.
Our Uniformed Division's mission is to protect facilities and venues secured for U.S. Secret Service protectees. Throughout its history, the Uniformed Division has accomplished this mission through individuals who embody honor, integrity and a commitment to excellence.
Today, the Uniformed Division has grown both in size and scope of responsibility and is mandated by law to provide physical security for the White House Complex and the vice president's residence at the Naval Observatory. It also provides security for the Treasury Department building and foreign diplomatic missions in Washington, D.C. The Uniformed Division also has specialized teams including Counter Sniper, Emergency Response, K-9, and more.
Requirements
U.S. citizenship is required.
Possess a current valid U.S. driver's license.
Be at least age 20 and less than age 37 at the time you receive a conditional offer of employment, unless you have previous service in a Federal Civilian Law Enforcement position covered by special law enforcement or firefighter retirement provisions, including early or mandatory retirement. Applicants with veteran's preference must receive a conditional offer of employment prior to reaching age 40 to continue in the application process.
Carry and use a firearm. Maintaining firearm proficiency is also mandatory.
Possess uncorrected visual acuity of no worse than 20/100 binocular. Possess corrected visual acuity of 20/20 or better in each eye.
Hearing loss, as measured by an audiometer, must not exceed 25 decibels (A.S.A. or equivalent I.S.O.) in either ear in the 500, 1000, and 2000 Hz ranges. Applicants must be able to hear the whispered voice at 15 feet with each ear without the use of a hearing aid.
Submit to a drug test prior to your appointment and random drug testing while you occupy the position.
Complete 12 weeks of intensive training at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC) in Glynco, GA or Artesia, NM and 17 weeks of specialized training at the James J. Rowley Training Center in Laurel, MD.

The examination is administered by the National Testing Network. PLEASE DO NOT TAKE THE FRONTLINE EXAM UNTIL YOU RECEIVE AN E-MAIL STATING THAT YOU MEET THE MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS. Candidates need a score of 60% or higher on the Video Section, and an overall score of 70% or higher to pass this examination.
The City of Santa Ana is now accepting PELLETB scores from other agencies. The PELLETB exam must have been completed within 6 months of application date in order for scores to be used in lieu of the Frontline National Examination. The minimal acceptable score is 46.
The next three selection components (Physical Agility Exam, Oral Interview Examination and Background Orientation) are all consolidated in one full day of testing.
2. PHYSICAL AGILITY EXAM: (qualifying) will evaluate each applicant's physical strength, agility and endurance in the following timed components:
* 1.5 MILE RUN The 1.5 mile run must be completed within 14 minutes to pass the City of Santa Ana physical agility test.
* 500 YARD RUN Run 500 yards
* SOLID FENCE CLIMB Run 5 yards to a 6-foot solid fence, climb over fence, and continue running another 25 yards
* CHAIN LINK FENCE Run 5 yards to a 6-foot chain link fence, climb over fence, and continue running another 25 yards
* OBSTACLE COURSE/AGILITY RUN Run a 99-yard obstacle course consisting of several sharp turns, a number of curb-height obstacles, and a 34-inch high obstacle
* BODY DRAG Lift and drag 165 pound lifelike dummy 32 feet
* Some components may be waived
Each of the above events are timed. Candidate's performance times are converted to points and summed. Candidates must successfully complete the 1.5 mile run AND accumulate a minimum total score of 384 points in the remaining five events to pass the physical agility test.

Job Title: FVP & SAD Officer IV
Department: Special Assets (HQ Office)
We are looking for FVP & SAD Officer IV to join our team. The FVP & SAD Officer IV is responsible for managing the special assets portfolio and the team with a focus on the mitigation of losses for the Bank. Responsibilities include analyzing financial plans, negotiating loan collection, or restructuring, and recommending/overseeing litigation, liquidation, or charge-off of loans.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop strategies for resolving classified (special asset) loans to minimize losses on the current loan portfolio.
* Analyze financial plans, negotiate loan collections or restructuring, make recommendations, and oversee litigation, liquidation, and charge-off of loans.
* Review and prepare necessary special assets reports.
* Manage ongoing non-pass rated borrowing relationships.
* Collaborate with legal counsels, collection agencies, and external partners to enforce loan recovery efforts.
* Provide leadership and oversee a team responsible for monitoring and managing special assets.
* Ensure staff are adequately trained and provided with necessary resources.
* Work closely with lending units to develop effective controls and processes for measuring, monitoring, and controlling risks.
* Communicate closely with senior management for reporting all special assets matters
* Stay updated on industry best practices and regulatory changes.
* Adhere to bank policies and procedures and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
* Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies related to distressed assets management.
Requirements/Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting, or related field or equivalent experience.
* Minimum five years of experience in lending related positions.
* Ability to retain a broad knowledge of tasks performed in the lending and liquidation functions.
* Good knowledge of lending regulations, lien laws, and loan documentation.
* Present a professional image in dealing with customers, interdepartmental, and external representatives.
* Good written and oral communication skills; ability to communicate effectively and project a professional image when giving and taking information in writing, in person, and over the phone.
* Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or customer complaints.
* Ability to make effective and persuasive speeches and presentations on controversial or complex topics to top management, employees, regulators, or board members.

Gallery Officers will observe and report all safety and/or security hazards relating to visitors, members and other employees as well as detect and report on damage to property and artifacts under the supervision of a Senior Security Officer, Security Supervisor and/or Director of Security.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Duties include performing security patrols by foot or vehicle, answering visitor inquiries, responding to emergencies according to defined procedures, and monitoring movement of staff, visitors, assets, equipment and materials.
Gallery Officers provide meal and break coverage to other officers in the galleries. This requires knowledge of all galleries and their alarm locations.
OTHER FUNCTIONS
Participate in on-going training programs on safety, fire and emergency procedures, security equipment, and related areas. Maintain a high level of customer service to all staff and visitors.
The Autry Museum reserves the right to add or change duties at any time. Officers may be required to report to work to meet Museum needs.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Experience in security, public safety, military and/or customer service preferred.
The ability to communicate clearly in person, in writing and via radio is required.
Must be able to complete security forms and write reports.
Flexible schedule including overtime, evening, and weekend work as well as the ability to work between Autry Museum locations as needed.
Must have a current valid California Driver's License.
WORKING CONDITIONS
This position requires standing for long periods of time (an average of 8 hours per shift) and the ability to wear a radio earpiece at normal volume setting.
Must be able to respond quickly in the event of an emergency; may be required to operate a golf cart to conduct patrols.
Requires the ability to ascend and descend stairs to complete patrols.
Manual dexterity is needed to open doors and write reports.
Gallery Officers may be assigned to work evening special events at an Autry Museum location to meet the museums demands
May be assigned outdoor posts which may include inclement weather, dust, dirt and noise.
