Campus Safety Under the direct supervision of the Safety & Security supervisor, this position will provide security functions for the College that include physical security and safety of faculty, staff and students, facilities, and assets. The incumbent will conduct highly visible campus patrols, inspections, and escort services as required, respond to all college-related calls for assistance, initiate or assist in investigations of incidents as required or directed, and maintain confidentiality. The incumbent may be assigned to work any shift, including weekends and holidays at the Espanola or El Rito Campus.
Duties & Responsibilities
Demonstrate dedication to job performance and complete tasks as assigned
Accept direction and guidance from supervisory personnel
Adhere to work schedule
Maintain clear and concise communication with internal and external stakeholders
Maintain College safety & security needs of the college community
Enforce all statutes and policies
Contact emergency responders as required
Investigate and report to the supervisor all noted incidents, hazards, and accidents promptly
Responsible for arming/disarming alarms, recording and reporting all alarm incidents to the supervisor
Work special events and college activities
Provides escort services when requested
Assist the supervisor in monitoring security equipment and camera surveillance when directed
Responsible for keeping security vehicles and equipment clean & in working order
Prepares daily activity logs and incident reports by the end of each shift and reports safety incidents to the supervisor promptly
Provide First Aid/CPR when requested/required
Responsible for ensuring that the college is not left unattended without a security officer during the shift, and must not leave the shift until security officers arrive for the shift change
Responsible for daily locking and unlocking of all college property
Conduct or assist with incidents, accidents, or other investigations
Patrol buildings and grounds of the college (interior and exterior) to ensure the safety and security of the physical structures and their permissible occupants
All other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS

Under the supervision of the Director of Surveillance, Surveillance Agent II/ Technician is responsible for all aspects of the Surveillance/ CCTV (closed circuit television) system. Provide the overall on-site technical support of the systems. The Surveillance Agent II/ Technician serves as the primary point of contact for monitoring the systems health. In addition, responsible for installation and configuration of IP networks, Windows client/server. Ability to read, understand and interpret project schedules, relocation of all surveillance equipment, diagnostics, repair, monitoring of existing equipment, routine maintenance. Must also must have knowledge of all policies and procedures, including Internal Controls, NIGC, TMICS, required to write detailed and accurate reports with results of investigations and any other duties as assigned.

Monitors all areas of the property, identifying potential security and/or safety risks and reporting same to the appropriate individual or entity, for proper resolution.

Usage of all surveillance equipment

Repairs or replaces faulty equipment on a timely basis.
