Summary/objective
Reporting to the Chief of Staff in the Philadelphia Housing Authority's Executive Office, the Administrative Officer performs a variety of complex professional administrative and office management functions, prepares correspondences, maintains departmental records and filing systems; conducts special projects; performs other related duties.
Essential Job Functions:
Supports multiple Senior Executives, including the President & CEO, by maintaining calendars, setting appointments, maintaining reports, and managing meetings;
Coordinates office services such as personnel, budget control, records control/retention and special management studies and ensures that the work flow is efficient;
Identifies ways to improve workflow; simplifies reporting procedures and implements work saving methods;
Obtains research information for PHA projects;
Serves as supervisor's designee at meetings when needed, ensuring consistent departmental communication is delivered to meeting attendees; may make commitments in accordance with the supervisor's thinking if so authorized;
Prepares presentations for supervisor;
Presents departmental information to diverse audiences throughout the Authority, using a variety of mediums, including audio-visual aids.
May supervise other office staff;
Prepares executive reports, letters, memos, and correspondence for the department;
Sets up and maintains departmental file system;
Responds to inquiries, disseminates information and routes incoming calls to appropriate point of contact; follows up to ensure timely completion of delegated assignments;
Drafts correspondence and related reports and into final format; assures conformity of office correspondence to established requirements;
Conducts extensive clerical research and completes data for reports, questionnaires, and other documents; performs directed analysis; collects, assembles and verifies information, may have frequent contact with other organizational members and departments in the collection of data or the coordination of efforts that serve mutual interests and objectives;
Monitors requisitions, ensures invoices are paid in a timely manner, coordinates activities related to both internal and external organizations, and maintains petty cash funds in accordance with established procedures;
Maintains adequate supply closet levels and orders office supplies as needed;
Receives and distributes incoming mail;
Stays abreast of new trends and innovations in the field of office administration;
Maintains absolute confidentiality of work-related issues and PHA information; AND
Performs related duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Education, Training and Experience Guidelines:
Bachelor's Degree in Business or Public Administration or a related field, AND five (5) years of administrative management support experience; OR an equivalent combination of education, training or experience.
Experience in public housing or another State or Federal agency is preferred.

Research techniques, methods and procedures and report presentation.

General Medical Requirements: As determined by OPM the duties of this position require moderate to arduous physical exertion involving walking and standing, use of firearms, and exposure to inclement weather. Manual dexterity with comparatively free motion of fingers, wrist, elbows, shoulders, hips and knee joints is required. Arms, hands, legs and feet must function sufficiently in order for applicants to perform the duties satisfactorily.

Additional information
Applicants selected for this position will be required to sign a continuing service agreement before being assigned to an initial training class. * Must be able to pass stringent background check, to include psychological and medical exam to determine fitness for duty, financial responsibility check, criminal history check, local police check, driving record check and drug testing
* Minimum 18 years of age. Preferred: 21 years of age, or older at time of completion of training.
* United States Citizen and a resident of Delaware County
Preferred: Have successfully completed the Pennsylvania State Police Academy, or a MPOETC certified police academy, or The Pennsylvania Sheriff?s and Deputy Sheriffs Basic Training Academy in last five years. If already attended a police academy, must be able to attend a two-week waiver of training course at the Pennsylvania State University, in State College, in order to become certified as a deputy sheriff under the Sheriff?s and Deputy Sheriff?s training Act.
In lieu of above, be able to attend The Sheriff and Deputy Sheriff Basic Training Academy which consists of 760 hours of training, over 19 weeks. As a pre-requisite to being enrolled in the Academy, all deputy sheriffs are required to be certified in First Aid Training and CPR Training. Attendees are also required to be medically cleared by a licensed physician, as documented on the Physical Form. In addition, all attendees are required to pass an entrance physical fitness test that is administered the first day of the training academy. Failure to pass the entrance fitness test will result in immediate dismissal from the academy. Topics of instruction include: Introduction to the Academy and Cognitive Command, Unified Court System of Pennsylvania, Civil Law and Procedure, Crimes and Offenses, Criminal Procedure, Motor Vehicle Code, Use of Force, Communications, Cultural Diversity, Ethics, Physical Conditioning, Firearms, Flying While Armed, Defensive Tactics, Security, IS 100 LE Incident Command, NIMS 700A, Hazardous Materials, Weapons of Mass Destruction, Patrol Operations, Crisis Management, Role of the First Responder, Standard Field Sobriety Testing, Sobriety Check Points, Tactical First Aid, Emergency Vehicle Operations, and Competency Skills Training. SUMMARY OF DUTIES
The Special Agent in Charge (SAC) is responsible for the daily investigative operations and staffs of one of three field/regional offices (East, Central or West). These offices carry out criminal, civil, and administrative investigations of the Amtrak Office of Inspector General.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
The SAC is responsible and accountable for the investigative program and operations of the assigned office:
* Provides management, oversight and leadership to the investigative teams to keep projects on track and ensure accurate and timely work in the process. Provides leadership in both investigative matters as well as administrative programs.
* Provides vision, direction, and focus to align investigative work to accomplish the Inspector General's strategic goals by supervising multiple, high risk/impact, or sensitive investigations, ensuring soundness, legality and integrity of investigations and the effective utilization of assigned staff and resources.
* Provides context to subordinates in terms of Amtrak and IG strategic plans and objectives and ensures that the organization develops tactical plans in concert with the overall strategic mission of the organization.
* Provides assistance and executive leadership in developing and executing new and independent programs designed to prevent criminal corruption and other serious irregularities which can lead to fraud and abuse in the programs and operations of Amtrak.
* Provides advice and assistance to Federal and state prosecutors during investigations and prosecutions, including testifying in court if necessary.
* Maintains cooperative relationships with Amtrak and with other law enforcement agencies (local/state/Federal) on investigative matters of mutual concern.
* Recruits, trains, mentors and leads a multi-disciplined staff and ensures that the human capital needs of the OIG are met.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

General Medical Requirements: As determined by OPM the duties of this position require moderate to arduous physical exertion involving walking and standing, use of firearms, and exposure to inclement weather. Manual dexterity with comparatively free motion of fingers, wrist, elbows, shoulders, hips and knee joints is required. Arms, hands, legs and feet must function sufficiently in order for applicants to perform the duties satisfactorily.
Additional information
* Recruitment Incentive: Applicants may be eligible for a $40,000 recruitment incentive in accordance with regulatory requirements. The first installment of $15,000 will be paid following successful completion of Secret Service Criminal Investigator training. A second installment of $10,000 will be paid following one year of service post training and an acceptable performance rating. The final installment of $15,000 will be paid after a third year of service post training and an acceptable performance rating. Provision of these payments require the execution of a three-year Continued Service Agreement (CSA) with the agency. Newly hired employees who resign from the USSS prior to the expiration of the CSA will be required to repay the recruitment incentive. (NOTE: Eligibility is limited to "Newly appointed" Federal employees as defined by 5 CFR 575.102).
Applicants selected for this position will be required to sign a CSA before being assigned to an initial training class. The CSA will commit the applicant to a specified period of employment with the Secret Service upon the successful completion of training.

The First Judicial District of Pennsylvania (“FJD”) is the Philadelphia County Court System and is composed of two courts: the Court of Common Pleas and the Municipal Court. The mission of the FJD is to adjudicate cases and provide services to the community within our jurisdiction while ensuring fair, timely, and accessible justice to the people of Philadelphia. The FJD is part of the Unified Judicial System reporting in to the Pennsylvania Supreme Court of Pennsylvania.

Job Description
Position Summary
An employee in this class analyzes, evaluates information to determine consequences, develops and recommends alternatives, coordinates, administers and may supervise major facet of Court program, service or project.
This is administrative work of limited scope and difficulty in the Court service. An employee in this class may serve in a staff capacity as an assistant to an administrator.

Essential Functions
The following duties are normal for this position. These are not to be construed as exclusive or all-inclusive. Other duties may be required and assigned.
May plan, assign and supervise work of subordinate staff.
May provide work direction and training to subordinate staff or volunteers.
May review work of subordinates for accuracy and completeness and evaluate employee performance.
Assists clients and general public in person and via telephone.
Investigates complaints and issues from general public or other offices.
Delegates routine situations to staff and responds directly to more complex situations or complaints.
Prepares and collates weekly, monthly or annual reports and drafts correspondence.
Utilizes personal computer and software applications for word processing, spreadsheet and database functions to prepare documents, spreadsheets and records.
Receive purchase orders from procurement and contact the requesting department to obtain property details.
Visit field locations to conduct annual inventory audits and update Intellitrack system.
Enter inventory into the Intellitrack system and maintain it up to date.
MARGINAL FUNCTIONS
Maintains supply and equipment inventory for office and orders supplies as needed.
Performs related duties as required.

Work-Life
Working hours are 40 hours per week. This is a full-time, in person position with the First Judicial District of Pennsylvania.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university AND one (1) year of administrative experience.
OR
Equivalent combinations of education, training and experience providing the characteristics required to perform the essential functions of the class may substitute.
Ability to perform the essential functions of the position.
Strong organization and communication skills are a requirement.
Successful completion of a criminal background investigation.
Must work in person (not remote).

Cardinal Point Security Group is building a team of Security Officers who will facilitate a safe learning environment and keep students, staff, and faculty safe from violence.
Rate: $30.00 per hour
Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 1:00 PM
Duties & Responsibilities:
Be a Cardinal Point Ambassador: Be on time. Look sharp in proper uniform. Be engaged. Be consistent
Coach and mentor students
Incident Management and verbal de-escalation
Maintains orderly flow of foot traffic in the hallways
Monitors restrooms throughout the day
Reports maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel
Walks up to 10,000 steps per day to patrol school facilities and grounds to prevent access to restricted areas, theft, or vandalism
Stands for up to four hours per day
Act as First responder for emergencies
Stands post at secondary locations as required
Identify and report suspicious activity
Cultivate positive relationships with staff and students

Basic Qualifications:
Retired or honorably separated Municipal Police Officer or State Trooper
Current clearances as required by the laws of Pennsylvania (24 P.S. § 1-111) weapons use/baton use/restrain procedures.
Must possess a valid PA Act 235 Certification.
Must possess a valid PA Concealed Carry Permit
Must possess your own firearm.
Must be able to pass the SPO MPOETC Firearms Qualification
Graduate from Municipal Police Officer Education, Training Commission's Police Academy, State Police Academy (Out of State police academies can be considered).
High School diploma or GED
Consent to a drug screen.
Must be willing to obtain Act 168, Child Abuse, PA State Criminal History and PDE FBI Clearances as required by the Child Protective Services Law and PA School Code.
CPR Certification
No felony or misdemeanor convictions involving moral turpitude.
Reliable means of communication (active cell phone with mobile email access).
Ability to comprehend and utilize the English Language (verbal and written).
Reliable means of transportation.
Must possess a customer focused, professional, and courteous demeanor.
