I am looking for Plastic Injection Operators and assemblers at a Newbury manufacturing plant. The job involves removing parts from a plastic injection press or assembling parts after they are produced. The shifts are 1st shift-6am-2:30am Monday through Friday 2nd shift-3pm-11:30pm Monday through Friday 3rd shift-11:30pm-7am Sunday through Thursday The positions are interim to direct. Money goes up once you are hired in. All applicants will be drug screened and criminal backgrounds will be checked. 1st shift pays $17.00 per hour 2nd and 3rd shift pay is $18.00 per hour #TalrooMiddlefield

General Position Summary: The Offset Wet Glue Operator is responsible for the supervision and coordination of activities of the pressroom in producing quality reproductions and to perform highly-skilled production involving operation of various types of offset presses and related equipment. Responsibilities Overall responsibility of the operation of the press. Heidelberg CD Supervision of the press helper to assign duties such as: cleaning, paper levels, ink levels and additional duties. Makes ready and operates sheet-fed offset printing press to print single and multicolor copy from lithographic plates. Measures the plate thickness and inserts packing sheets on plate cylinder to build up plate to printing height and installs and locks plate into position, using handtools, to achieve pressure required for printing. Measures the paper thickness and adjusts space between blanket and impression cylinders according to thickness of paper stock. Starts press, examines printed copy for ink density, position on paper, and registration, and makes adjustments to press throughout production run to maintain specific registration and color density. Removes and cleans plate and cylinders. Monitors the production during run quality, maintaining all required samples. Must work well with others in a team environment. Recording of time and production for job costing. Ability to meet daily production standards. Performs all required preventative maintenance in accordance to production schedule. Maintains a clean and organized work area and press. Observe company work rules and safety regulations.
