Elaine joined PayPal Australia in February 2106 as Marketing Director. In this role she is responsible for driving customer engagement across both the consumer and merchant portfolios and building the PayPal brand in Australia. She is a member of the PayPal Australia Leadership team and leads the marketing team to deliver best in class digital and social campaigns that drive business outcomes. With over 10 years’ experience within the Fintech marketing space she is passionate about how the commerce experience will be rewired over the next two years and the role marketing plays in guiding consumers through this transformation. Previously, Elaine spent 8 years in Westpac Group. Elaine joined the Westpac Group in 2007 as Head of Marketing for BT Super for Life, and spent nearly 3 years in BT's Superannuation business leading marketing and sales functions. She moved to Westpac in June 2011 as GM, Brand and Advertising, subsequently leading Strategic Brand and Planning team. She was appointed to role of Head of Marketing and Brand for Westpac in March 2012 and when she left the group she held this role as well as that of Head of Mass Marketing Services, with a team of 90.

My legal career spans 26 years working in Australia and across Asia based in Sydney, Hong Kong, Mongolia and Thailand.

This unique and exciting experience has given me a broad range of corporate and commercial experience across a range of industry sectors, with particular focus on major energy, resources and infrastructure projects and extensive knowledge of navigating varying legal and regulatory systems across different jurisdictin ions.

I constantly draw on my commercial and negotiating experience, and strong communication skills, to help my clients assess their situations, understand potential strategies and consider possible outcomes.

When working with clients on their most important matters, I am an empathetic and dedicated lawyer who works tirelessly to achieve the best result for each client in a timely and cost-effective manner.

Kate Svoboda is a Chief Human Resources Officer at GENWORTH MORTGAGE INSURANCE and Chief People and Culture Officer at OFX and is based in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. She has worked as Director Human Resources at Genworth Australia; Manager, Speech Pathology Services at Westmead Private Hospital; and State Learning and Development Manager at BreastScreen NSW. Kate attended The University of Queensland between 1990 and 1993 and University of New England AU.

Selena Verth joined OFX in October 2017 as Chief Financial Officer. Selena has more than 17 years of experience in finance, analytics, M&A and risk across various roles. Her most recent role was Head of Finance – Platforms, Superannuation and Investments and Head of Wealth Analytics and Insight at BT Financial Group Australia. Prior to this, Selena held a number of senior financial roles within GE, including Leader, Financial Planning and Analysis and Commercial Finance for GE Global Growth and Operations, ANZ; and Director of Business Development for GE Australia. Selena has a Bachelor of Commerce and an Executive MBA from the Australian Graduate School of Management and is a Certified Practicing Accountant.
