Job Description Food Service Aide Main Function: Assembles and delivers patient meal trays and nourishments. Disassembles patient trays after meal service. Assists in the dish room area, keeping areas clean neat and sanitized. Assists co-workers in any department task. Completes inventory and delivery of care area food, beverage and paper supply needs. Serves meals to patron in the cafeteria. Runs cash register. Assists with the assembly of catering supplies for next day service. Keeps areas neat, clean, sanitized and stocked with appropriate items. Acts in compliance with the Ohio revised food code, hospital, and Dietary Department policy. RESPONSIBLE TO: Food Production Supervisor MUST HAVE REQUIREMENTS: 1-2 years previous experience in food service. Must be willing to contribute to a team.
