The Retail Associate assists the store management team in reaching the operational goals of the site by functioning in various capacities within the retail location. The titles of the various jobs the Retail Associate may be called upon to learn and work include: Cashier, Textiles or Wares Producer, Donation Door Attendant, eCommerce Producer, e-Books Producer, and Rack or Cart Runner.
Example Duties and Activities
Cashier:
Rings up customer orders, maintains a balanced drawer, and follows all cash handling procedures and protocols.
Provides general information about Goodwill programs to educate customers and answer questions. Directs all higher-level questions to the appropriate associate or manager.
Maintains cleanliness of the sales floor (purge, size, run racks, and merchandise).
Textiles or Wares Producer:
Sorts product to identify quality and value (checks for holes, missing buttons, defective zippers, or stains and cleans as needed) and properly barbs, tags, and hangs textiles or wares. Sort textiles (curating for quality).
Produces 100 items per hour for wares/85 items per hour for textiles adhering to Goodwill's pricing standards and updating daily production tracking sheet.
Occasionally uses a pallet jack and regularly uses a conveyor belt.
Donation Door Attendant:
Accepts donations from customers and maintains a clean and clear donation door.
Quickly and accurately sorts products and distributes them to appropriate areas.
Maintains an efficient working area by ensuring the backroom is clean and organized (all boxes labeled, everything in its place, and a place for everything).
Loads and unloads trucks as needed and regularly uses heavy equipment, including a pallet jack, double stacker, floor scrubber, and hydraulic lift.
eCommerce Producer:
Develops a keen eye to identify and secure items of value for ClickGoodwill.
Stays informed of the market value of merchandise through eBay and other Internet shopping sites to properly tag, itemize, and secure items in totes for ClickGoodwill and educates team of eCommerce high ticket items.
Properly, efficiently and carefully pack curated products onto pallets, wraps, and ships totes to ClickGoodwill to meet the store budget regarding totes shipped per week.
e-Books Producer:
Scans books received by the store and decides what is sent to ClickGoodwill or displayed at the store location to meet the store budget.
Prints inventory sheets and packs, seals, and ships totes for ClickGoodwill.
Identifies top sellers and manages a clean, organized, in-store sales-effective display.
Rack and Cart Runner:
Checks each rack/cart to ensure quality and value.
Properly sizes, merchandises, and purges the sales floor.
Maintains a clean and orderly sales floor, puts away carts, and stocks shelves.
Runs one textile rack/wares cart per 15 minutes and updates daily production tracking sheet.

Responsibilities of Position
Responsible for delivering products and materials to customer's jobsites using the most efficient route available while observing and obeying all traffic laws and safety regulations as well as company policies/procedures.
Unload or assists in unloading products and materials at the customer's jobsite by using crane (boom), conveyor, piggybacks (Moffett) and/or by hand.
Ensures that delivery schedules are met while providing friendly and professional customer service.
Responsible for securing returning loads on the company vehicle prior to leaving the job site.
Responsible for the completion of required paperwork pertaining to deliveries (including Delivery Waiver / Consent Form), returns, and/or transfers to ensure the accurate tracking of product and materials for inventory control management purposes.
Assists in the loading and/or securing of residential and commercial building products and materials on trucks daily. Assists yard personnel in verifying materials and quantities for accuracy.
Maintains the cleanliness and appearance of the inside and outside of delivery vehicles.
Performs routine safety check on vehicles according to company policies/procedures.
Assists in yard and warehouse with stocking, loading and organizing building and lumber materials.
Assist customers in the yard with loading material and product questions when not driving a delivery truck.
Other duties as assigned by the General Manager.
Driver License and DOT Medical Certification Requirement
Valid Class A or Class B CDL License (preferably with Air Brake and Manual Transmission Endorsements)
Must possess or be willing to obtain DOT Medical Certification Card (preferably self-certified as “Non-Excepted Interstate”)
Have an acceptable driving record for the prior sixty (60) months of operating a commercial motor vehicle.
A Driver CDL hired by the Company must ensure their CDL license and DOT Medical Certification Card remain current and perform all required daily equipment inspections in accordance with the company's safety guidelines.

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or 6 to 12 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

FUNCTION OF THE JOB:
Assist the Proctor including answering phones, checking students in and out of the Testing Center, and scheduling appointments for students. As well as, Delivering mail and forms to various offices in SVCC and keeping the Testing Center clean.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
~General office duties including answering the telephone and taking accurate concise messages.
~Promptly answer the phone, identify yourself and your department with a pleasant greeting, and be ready to assist the caller.
~Listen attentively to students and take accurate messages, verifying spelling of names and phone numbers.
~Transfer calls and deliver messages promptly.
~Schedule student's appointments to allow enough time for student to complete the test before the Testing Center closes.
~Other duties as reasonably assigned by Testing Center staff.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
~Must display professionalism and confidentiality in all matters
~Must be able to communicate by telephone on a daily basis.
~Must be able to use computers.
~Must be able to operate basic office equipment.
~Must be able to provide and understand verbal/visual orders from supervisors.
PERSONAL INTERACTION:
Daily contact with College personnel, faculty, students, and the general public in the routine performance of duties and departmental services.

REQUIREMENTS:
Federal Work-Study provides part-time jobs for undergraduate and graduate students with financial need, allowing them to earn money to help pay education expenses. The program encourages community service work and work related to the student's course of study. Students participating in the Federal Work Study Program are paid minimum wage and can work up to 20 hours per week. The student is not guaranteed a set number of hours per week. In order to qualify for the Federal Work Study Program the student must:
~ be enrolled half-time (or greater) at the College (half-time is 6cr for fall/spring and 3cr for summer),
~ be enrolled in an eligible degree or certificate program,
~ be in good academic standing; and

About the Role
The Sterilization Technician is responsible for maintaining instrument flow, infection control standards, and clinical organization throughout the day. This position works closely with dental assistants and providers to ensure rooms and instruments are always ready for patient care.
Key Responsibilities
Clean, disinfect, package, and sterilize dental instruments and equipment
Maintain sterilization logs and follow OSHA, CDC, and office protocols
Monitor autoclaves and sterilization equipment for proper function
Set up and break down operatories as needed
Stock clinical rooms and maintain organized supply areas
Support the clinical team to keep patient flow moving efficiently
Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized lab and sterilization area
