There is no federal or Ohio state law preventing employers from requiring employees to receive covid vaccinations. Similarly, employers can ask employees for vaccination proof as a condition of employment.

A 16-year-old in Ohio can work for different amounts of hours depending on whether a school is in session or not.

When school is in session these minors can work:

• 4 hours per school day

• 8 hours per non-school day

• 20 total per school week

• 40 hours total per week or six full-time days per week
