In 1910 the company began manufacturing one of the first anesthesia gas machines, The Ohio Monovalve, which was used extensively during World War I.

1916

Squire-Cogswell, founded in Chicago, Illinois in 1916, was a vital contract manufacturer for Ohio Chemical.

2005

In 2005, Ohio Medical LLC was formed.

2007

In 2007, Ohio Medical LLC acquired Amvex.

2010

In 2010, Ohio Medical acquired MiniOx®, a long-standing leader of oxygen monitoring and analyzing products.

2016

In 2016, Tenex Capital Management completed the acquisition of Ohio Medical.
