Hospice registered nurse job at Ohio's Hospice
This is a part time nights position serving our Troy Hospice House IPU, but will float to Dayton Hospice House when needed.
Shifts will be from 7:00pm-7:30am, 24hrs per week with an every third weekend is required and every other holiday.
We provide superior care and superior service to patients at their end of life journey.
Only those who have a heart for hospice will succeed.
What we are looking for:
An RN who plans and delivers care to patients utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, interventions, implementation, and evaluation; and effectively interacts with patients, families and other interdisciplinary team members while maintaining standards of professional nursing. We provide superior care and superior services to patients at their end of life journey. Only those who have a heart for hospice will succeed.
RN Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited nursing school; Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN); Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred. Active Registered Nurse license in the State of Ohio without any board actions. Two years acute care nursing experience preferred.
CPR Certified
Certification in Hospice & Palliative Medicine (CHPN) preferred; required within two years of employment. (Eligible upon completion of 500 hours in last 12 months of hospice/palliative experience.)
Computer skills sufficient to properly document services and care.
Ability to drive during daytime, nighttime or inclement weather.
Valid Driver's License with Safe Driving Record

EDUCATION
Graduate of an accredited Diploma, Associate or Baccalaureate School of Nursing.
LICENSURE
