The Ohio Wesleyan University in Delaware, Ohio, offers quality educational programs designed to equip students with the competence, knowledge and character for leadership, scholarship and service. The school maintains a connection with the United Methodist Church. To honor its heritage, the school strives to enrich both the Church and society through its programs which are designed to benefit society and students of any religious denominations. Student life at Ohio Wesleyan is full of opportunity. You can join one of the more than 90 student clubs and organizations, with interests ranging from improv performance to medieval Renaissance combat to an Entrepreneurship Club and more. Greek life options are available in seven fraternities and five sororities. Academics include more than 90 majors offered through more than 30 academic departments and interdisciplinary programs. Undergraduate degrees are available in fields like natural science, the arts, humanities and social sciences. Pre-professional and combined degree programs are also available. Admissions require students to submit official high school transcripts, SAT or ACT scores, an admissions essay and secondary school report and counselor recommendation. The school accepts the Common Application or the OWU Online application. The application fee is waived if you apply online. Students who complete a FAFSA application will be considered for financial aid through the form of Ohio Wesleyan grants, Pell grants, Stafford loans and a variety of academic and departmental scholarships provided by the school.
