Responsibilities:
+ Work cross-functionally with operations and quality to ensure customer demands are met
+ Accurately document information into Burn-In cart database
+ Timely communication of problems to appropriate personnel.
+ Re-inspect work once complete to ensure successful operation/repair has been performed on equipment/tooling
+ Return completed equipment/tooling to the floor at the end of every shift.
+ Perform daily maintenance on soldering equipment, 5S on work area and document completion of tasks.
+ Perform monthly maintenance per Work Orders and document completion.
+ Must become certified and perform operations on both lead and lead-free products
+ Use analysis tools, data search tools, and schematics to determine the root cause of blocked slots.
+ Correlate DTC to product and test tooling loads/schematics
+ Actively searching for and suggesting ways to improve performance of tooling/equipment and analysis time.
+ Responsible for training Technicians in the trouble shooting of suspect product tooling/equipment.
+ Identify and communicate chronic issues that impact product test performance. Work with Engineering to implement corrective action.
+ Verifies the proper functioning of analysis tools and wire harnesses/fixtures. Completes repairs when necessary.
+ Assists in the drafting of analysis procedures for use by personnel in trouble shooting of suspect material tooling/equipment.
+ Support of tooling and equipment readiness in all aspects of the Marshall production phase; New product Launch, Current Production, and Service
+ Perform other duties as assigned
+ Comply with and support the health, safety, and environmental programs, policies and procedures
Qualifications:
+ AS degree in Electronics or related field with 1-3 years relevant experience; or Military equivalent; or HS diploma and 3-5 years relevant experience in component-level electronics troubleshooting and/or inspection
+ Aptitude indicative of performing multiple priorities in a fast paced work environment
+ Familiar with Microsoft office applications and the use of basic functions (Word, Excel, Access, and Power Point)
+ Familiar with FARS and data search tools in the Marshall facility
+ Capable of planning, scheduling, conducting, & completing team meetings to solve systemic problems
+ Capable of providing/establishing troubleshooting tools, processes, or equipment.
+ Must successfully complete soldering / workmanship standards classes and soldering audit process
+ Must successfully complete IPC knowledge test with passing score
