This position is responsible for operating Directional Drilling Equipment, locating equipment, and small dirt equipment, as well as performing other duties as required for each directional bore project. view details Essential Job Functions, Duties & Responsibilities * Safely and efficiently mobilize, setup and operate HDD equipment to maximize daily productivity and quality, while providing resolution to problems that may arise at drill site * Monitor locating process and equipment during the drilling phases * Add or remove drill rods, and carry out basic maintenance of drills, including lubricating and cleaning and report any mechanical issues to manager * Operate other equipment as necessary including trenchers, mini excavators, and backhoes * Demonstrate courtesy and professionalism when working directly with customers, vendors/suppliers and subcontractors * Take direction easily and respect changes in priorities and timing as requested by manager * Perform all duties according and utilizing safety procedures and equipment, while following and implementing all Miss Utility Laws Education, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities * 1-year experience with operating HDD equipment and/or similar heavy equipment in various conditions * CDL Driver's License with clean driving record or willingness to obtain * Able to work in confined spaces * Safe performance record
