Beitzel Corporation is now accepting applications for (1) full-time Roustabout/Laborer. The Roustabout /Laborer is responsible for supporting work within Oil and Gas Services, Construction Services and Excavation Services. The position is diverse and the job duties and job types may vary on a daily basis.
The Roustabout/Laborer operates excavators, telehandlers, forklifts, along with construction power equipment and common and specialized hand tools. This position requires a mechanical aptitude and an interest in operating heavy equipment and performing labor within multiple trades to include, but limited to: concrete, pipe fitting, welding, fabrication, industrial construction, pipe insulation, demolition, etc. The scope of work may extend across multiple industries to include, but not limited to: Oil and Gas, Industrial Construction, Manufacturing, Power Plants, Commercial, Aggregate, Oil and Gas, Coal, etc.
The position will require a flexible schedule, with extensive travel and out-of-town and overnight work. It will also require extended work hours, weekend and holiday work as required. Typical areas of operations include, but are not limited to: MD, PA, OH, WV, VA, and NJ
+ Mix off drill cuttings and load trucks/roll-off boxes
+ Fuel equipment
+ Patch containment
+ Operate various pieces of equipment on site at the direction of Field Supervisor or Customer Representative
+ Prepare T&M tickets, receipts, and other paperwork as required by the operation
+ Perform the day to day activities assigned by the customer and/or Field Supervisor and ensure that all required inspections are completed
+ Aid other field personnel as needed
+ Work a scheduled hitch on an assigned location
+ No experience necessary
+ High school diploma or GED equivalent
+ Ability to perform mathematical calculations accurately
+ Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
+ Skill in dealing with the public in a manner which will facilitate constructive problem solving
