Oklahoma Christian Academy company history timeline

1987

In 1987, OCS moved to the Metro Church (now Life.Church) campus and became neighbors with the church.

1990

To reflect the college's growth the name was changed to Oklahoma Christian University of Science and Arts (OCUSA) in 1990.

1995

OCS completed its first building project in 1995 in the form of a middle school and gymnasium facility.

1998

2002

In 2002, OCS was able to purchase land and the two buildings, which had previously been leased from the church.

In 2002 Mike O'Neal began his presidency after having completed twenty-six years in finance and development at Pepperdine University in Malibu, California.

2007

In 2007, the school began construction of the custom-designed Centennial Student Center which was strategically positioned to overlook the athletic fields and provide a practice gymnasium, cafeteria, band room, additional locker rooms, and weight room.
