Make some sales calls and assist in managing sales team Provide leadership to location staff Assist in managing daily operations and insure maximum service center efficiency Focus on load plans from origin terminals monitoring cause and effect. Conduct Safety and Claims meetings with staff and verify attendance Work continually to develop and improve service center staff Communicating goals, issues, and company news to service center staff Assist with success in achieving and maintaining goals set by the Company and Regional Vice President Monitor results of staff and provide feedback and coaching as needed Track and verify service center maintenance is completed Job Qualifications Education: High school diploma or equivalent required Bachelor's degree preferred Experience: 5 years of experience as an operations supervisor in the transportation industry Working knowledge of AS400, Microsoft Office, DYMS and BLU systems Knowledge of general DOT regulations Proficiency with AS400, Windows, internal system such as Dock Yard Management Systems and the BLU computer systems Good verbal and written communication skills Ability to lead and motivate others Compensation Range: The referenced salary range is based on the Company's good faith belief at the time of posting.
