The Solutions Specialist plays a vital role in connecting clients with efficient, tailored logistics solutions at Old Dominion Freight Line. A Solutions Specialist will be required to obtain a maximum volume of profitable freight in his/her territory. The Solutions Specialist must provide responsive customer service and coordinate with operations to exceed their expectations. A Solutions Specialist will serve as the customer's point of contact through in person meetings to help meet their logistical needs. Must have 2+ years in B-B (Business to Business) sales or equivalent.
Primary Responsibilities
Travels throughout assigned territory to meet customers in person on a regular basis and cultivates a good relationship with all traffic persons, purchasing agents, production supervisors, sales representatives, executives, distributors, and agents who influence the decision on routing traffic
Keep the customer informed of new service points and improvements in company service
Assist the customer with obtaining a rate agreement and submit the request to our pricing coordinators through the T-1 Pricing information form
Regularly check on major accounts to ensure we are meeting our On-Time service promises
Complete reports of monthly customer activities to identify their current level of business
Provide information on rates and rate changes
Submit itineraries on a weekly basis for coverage areas to maximize efficiency when visiting customers
Maintain a positive relationship with drivers in his/her area and discuss possible leads
Communicate customer's equipment requirements and hours of service to the service center operations
Inform the customer of our Speed Service and Expedited abilities
Manage transportation and entertainment expenses in an expense report that is submitted weekly
Keep a record of your daily sales calls and enter them in our computer system
Handle customer complaints through the appropriate channels
As a condition of employment, employee must maintain a valid Driver's License with Satisfactory Driving Record, including no more than (4) moving motor vehicle violations or chargeable accidents, or combination thereof, within (3) years preceding the date of application with no more than (2) moving motor violations in the (12) months preceding the date of application; and no convictions of driving under the influence of alcohol (DWI, DUI, DWAI) within (4) years preceding the date of application.

Job Summary
The dockworker must efficiently load and unload freight, ensuring that the correct items are placed on the right trucks. Safety is paramount, and Dock Workers use equipment like forklifts and manual techniques to handle materials. Proper securing of freight with airbags and cardboard, as well as using straps, is crucial to prevent damage during transport. The dock worker position directly impacts the reliability of deliveries to customers.
Primary Responsibilities
Load and unload freight on trailers using a motorized forklift, pallet jack or manually in compliance with state and federal DOT guidelines. Use various loading techniques, such as loading tight or cross loading.
Transport self and/or freight continuously throughout the service center on non-forgiving surfaces.
Utilize Dock Yard Management System to consistently monitor freight shipment locations throughout the service center.
Read and interpret shipping labels. Familiarity with, and in some cases ability to complete the various forms utilized in freight movement such as shipping orders, city stripping manifests, freight bills, overage/damage movement reports and exception forms.
Hand load, rewrap or stack freight as necessary.
Insure the quality loading of all trailers.
Secure freight inside trailers using appropriate tools and supplies (e.g. pallets, straps, rope).
Frequent contact with service center personnel; fast-pace and deadline oriented.

This could involve for example moving 100lb containers to and from floor level to carts, stacks or platforms over 4 feet high, balancing 300 lb. drums on their rims and rolling them into positions, rolling and lifting tires, or stowing cartons or other merchandise overhead that weigh as much as 100 lbs. each.
(Pushing/Pulling) Must be able to perform frequent pulling and pushing of freight with or without the help of freight pulling equipment up to 100lbs. Must also be able to push and pull forklift blades, forklift gas tanks, deck bars, and other freight related items.
(Hearing/Speaking) Must be able to see parts in and on the forklift mechanical equipment for pre and post inspections. Must be able to hearing the horns of other forklifts and shouted instructions and warnings.
(Reaching) Must be able to frequently reach for freight at waist level and occasionally reach for freight above shoulder height or below waist level. Must be able to reach for forklift controls, pushing deck bars, and placing/strapping airbags/straps/cardboard. Must be able to reach while sweeping work areas clean of debris.
(Lifting) Must be able to frequently lift and handle objects weighing up to 100 lbs. of varying sizes or shapes, using OSHA guidelines and lifting techniques, distances of 1 foot but usually no less than 100 feet.

Must be able to grip with right, left or both hands to use handles to get in and out of the forklift, holding tablet, using pallet jacks or hand trucks, controlling and pushing the buttons on the forklift, holding the steering wheel, securing straps, cardboard, airbags, etc.
Must be able to pinch fingers on the right, left or both hands to shrink wrap, secure and unsecure straps, utilize clip boards, utilize tablets, etc.
Must be able to use cognitive skills for:
paying attention to surroundings, including cross-dock traffic, forklift inspections, freight, gates, etc.
long-term and short-term memory for inspecting areas, breaking down pallets, carrying products, driving in cross-dock traffic and for safety
logic and reasoning in reading manifests, tablets, reading boxes and order numbers
Auditory and visual processing to inspect forklifts, driving, reading, listening for horns and/or other cross-dock traffic and speaking with other dock workers. Must be able to see and read bills of lading, tablets for yard management systems, and read printed materials. Must be able to see and scan areas of work for debris and defects.
(Other) Must be able to work a variety of times and shifts in order to meet customer pick up and delivery schedules.
Ability to work in extremely hot or cold climates, ability to work in an environment where noise and odors may be present.

The Job:
Bring “Soccer Island” alive with your enthusiasm and creativity.
Conduct soccer sessions for children 2 to 8 years old, including field set-up and take-down.
Encourage character development through positive reinforcement and modeling.
Utilize expert-created Soccer Shots' curriculum and early childhood development teaching techniques in every session.
Foster a safe and inclusive environment for all participants.
Follow all on-site safety and attendance protocols.
Communicate effectively with families, caregivers, and teachers.
Qualifications:
No prior sports/coaching experience required.
Genuine passion for children and sports.
Energetic, engaging, and responsible.
Safety conscious.
Ability to adapt to the needs of kids ages 2-8.
Access to reliable transportation.
Ability to stand, jog, and model children's soccer skills.
Coaches must have or obtain state-required clearances.

R+L Carriers has an immediate opening for a Network Optimization Engineer at our Wilmington, OH Service Center to analyze, design, and continuously improve our transportation lane network. This role is responsible for reviewing freight flows, lane performance, capacity utilization, and service commitments, then modifying lane structures and routing strategies to improve cost efficiency, service reliability, and network balance. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical skills with operational knowledge and can translate data insights into practical network changes.
Responsibilities:
* Implement approved Network changes in accordance with applicable procedures
* Configure and install Cisco routers and switches
* Analyze and diagnose network problems for a variety of users in a multi-tenant environment.
* Assist network Engineer(s) in the form of requirements analysis, network application design, implementation, problem investigation and resolution, and network application evaluation
* Create, publish, and maintain up-to-date and accurate Network documentation
* Perform necessary upgrades to the network infrastructure as needed.
* Function as a point of contact between vendors, and internal or external organizations to ensure timely transition of fix and maintenance activities.
* On call as required.
* A minimal amount of travel may be required.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Data Science, Supply Chain, Operations Research, or related field (or equivalent experience)
* 3+ years of experience in network optimization, transportation planning, or logistics analytics
* Strong analytical skills with experience working with large, complex datasets
* Solid understanding of transportation networks, lane design, and freight routing concepts
* Experience evaluating cost, service, and capacity tradeoffs
* Advanced Excel skills; experience with SQL, Python, or optimization tools preferred
* Data-driven decision maker with strong problem-solving skills
* Ability to see network-wide impacts rather than isolated lane changes
* Clear communicator able to explain complex network logic to operational teams
* Detail-oriented with a continuous improvement mindset
* Comfortable balancing analytical rigor with real-world operational constraints
Preferred:
* Experience in LTL, parcel, or hub-and-spoke transportation networks
* Familiarity with freight matrix modeling and lane-level performance analysis
* Experience with optimization or simulation tools (e.g., OR tools, network modeling software)
* Knowledge of scheduling, linehaul planning, or dispatch operations
