Position Overview
This is a skilled position involving the safe and efficient operation of various types of construction equipment including but not limited to Loaders, Back Hoes, Track Hoes, Haul Trucks, Water Trucks, Etc. Training may be available.
Key Responsibilities (Essential Duties & Functions)
* Operate equipment safely and efficiently.
* Responsible for safe slopes on excavations and proper barricading.
* Locate utilities and other buried lines prior to digging.
* Perform minor servicing and maintenance or refer major problems to the supervisor.
* Knowledge of trenching and shoring standards.
* Keep time and material records.
* Knowledge of aggregate sizes and classifications.
* Knowledge of weight requirements of loads leaving the pit.
* Travel from interstate highway to rural dirt roads from various locations.

Summary
This is a skilled position requiring employee to manage and coordinate activities of workers engaged in asphalt paving and earthwork. Position requires the scheduling, hiring and coordination of employees and construction equipment. * Prepares daily work schedules to ensure that sufficient shift personnel are available for workload demands.

Key Responsibilities (Essential Duties and Functions)
* Operate equipment safely and efficiently.
* Responsible for safe slopes on excavations and proper barricading.
* Locate utilities and other buried lines prior to digging.
* Perform minor servicing and maintenance or refer major problems to the supervisor.

Position Overview
The Entry Level Field Trainee is responsible for safely performing a variety of construction duties to assist the crews or at various locations. This position involves various manual tasks. The trainee will be required to help experienced workers by performing routine tasks such as loading and unloading materials and preparing and cleaning the worksite for projects. They usually need to learn from other workers how to do more difficult tasks such as using special equipment and tools. Some professionals working on this field are construction workers, technicians, operators, drivers, laborers, among other specialists. The trainee will spend the first 90 days of employment with a mentor to assist with acclimation to the job, workforce and company.
Key Responsibilities (Essential Duties and Functions)
Duties and functions will vary depending on available posts and responsibilities for each position. Trainee will typically be hired under one of the following position descriptions:
General Laborer:
* Prepares ground surfaces for the road building process. Removes debris out of the construction path.
* Hand shovels to prepare ground trenches for pipes and utility lines. May dig up existing pipes and lines. Pipes include water, sewer, conduit and other utility lines.
* Attaches trench box and pipes to chains or guide wires to be lifted and moved by the heavy equipment operator. Installs shoring materials.
* Operates ground compactors, levels out and rakes dirt, sets string markers, and removes items within the area to be paved.
* May cut concrete with saw as needed to finish grades.
* Performs machinery maintenance and repairs. Unplugs and shovels off conveyors and screens. Changes out screens, rollers, cone liners, etc. Repairs conveyor problems. Greases moving machine parts.

Equipment Operator:
* Operate equipment safely and efficiently.
* Responsible for safe slopes on excavations and proper barricading.
* Locate utilities and other buried lines prior to digging.
* Perform minor servicing and maintenance or refer major problems to the supervisor.
* Knowledge of trenching and shoring standards.
* Keep time and material records.

Truck Driver:
* Thorough operational knowledge and skills of end dumps and/or belly dumps (with and without pups) and related equipment to be operated.

* Perform sampling, testing and reporting procedures according to established protocol, having the ability to test construction material samples and recording test results in a timely and accurate manner.

Mechanic:
* Learns to troubleshoot problems, making economical and durable repairs.
* Dismantles devices to gain access to and remove defective parts using hoists and hand tools.
* Be trained to maintain and repair heavy equipment, trucks, shop, and non-mobile equipment on a company-wide basis.
* Will learn to service vehicles/equipment to include oil changes, greasing, adding fluids, changing filters and maintaining preventative maintenance schedules.
* Become skilled at troubleshooting and repairing electrical and hydraulic systems, diesel and gasoline engines, transmissions, drive trains, etc.
* Orders parts and supplies. Maintains purchase orders and invoices. Operates computer for job functions.

Position Overview
As a Lube/ Fuel Service Technician, you will be responsible for preventative maintenance aspects of equipment. This will include but not limited to mobile power generators, wheel loaders, Dozers, track hoes, skid steers etc. You will be responsible for personal time management of all areas assigned as well as tracking and management of parts/tools.

Position Overview
Position involves operating a motor grader to precisely level and shape earth materials within the job site. Will also safely and efficiently operate various types of construction equipment including but not limited to Loaders, Back Hoes, Track Hoes, Haul Trucks, Etc.
Key Responsibilities (Essential Duties and Functions)
The duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
* Ability to detect safety hazards and equipment malfunctions and respond accordingly.
* Precisely level and shape materials by cutting, spreading, and finishing surfaces to achieve desired grade lines and cross-sections.
* Efficiently operate heavy equipment including Haul Tuck, Water Truck, Dump Truck, Dredge, Track Hoe, Frontend Loader, and Skid Steer Loader, assisting foreperson and/or crew members as needed as requested by the Plant Manager/Superintendent/Foreperson.
* Perform routine site and road maintenance including haul roads, pits, areas around installations and fixed assets.
* Coordinate with other crew members.
* Complete daily pre-shift and post-shift inspections and route maintenance on the grader including checking fluid levels, tire pressure and overall machine condition.
* Ability to understand and follow directions.
* Assist with miscellaneous duties include but not limited to; general labor, shoveling, performing necessary equipment maintenance. E
* Assist with the daily operations and upkeep of the plant.
* Clean up around the plant, equipment, and surrounding area.
