ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Facilities Oversight Manage the daily operations, maintenance, and repair of all CHCCAA buildings and grounds. Ensure all facilities, especially Head Start centers, are maintained to meet licensing, safety, and health regulations. Rehearsals for “The Wizard of Oz, Youth Edition” are Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:30 - 7:00pm, and Sundays from 4:00 - 5:00pm. There are additional rehearsal dates and times on Sundays beginning in March and the two weeks leading up to the show. Performances are May 13, 14 and 17. Tech rehearsals run April 30 - May 11. There are no Friday or Saturday rehearsals. CANDIDATES SHOULD HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: Comfortable working with children ages 5 - 14 Experience in theatre. Strong communication and organizational skills Provide practical and organizational support to the director, actors, designers, and stage crew. Record blocking during staging process. Create prompt book containing the production's sound, lighting and set cues. Ensure props and costumes are labelled and organized appropriately backstage. Assist with acquiring props and costumes. Other duties as assigned. Expectation is that the stage manager will attend all rehearsals, performances, and production meetings.
