Focus: The Winchester Marketing Intern will primarily assist the Marketing department in promoting the Winchester brand and ammunition products, while learning skills related to marketing, advertising, and promotions. The position may also support additional brands and products within the Winchester portfolio including Browning Ammunition, White Flyer and Winchester Licensed products.
Winchester Marketing Intern Essential Job Functions:
* Assist in planning for trade events (i.e. Shot Show, NRA, NWTF)
* Assist in media relations hunt/events
* Assist in planning for events with sponsored TV series/hosts
* Assist with social media posts (content generation) and monitoring
* Assist with general marketing communication tasks and back-up for event order placement
* Coordinate retailer master list updates and shipment of point-of-sale materials/graphics to retail accounts
Winchester Marketing Intern Minimum Requirements:
* Enrolled at an accredited college or university majoring in an undergraduate or graduate degree program required. Marketing, Sales, or business-related degree program preferred.
* Must have an overall grade point average of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale at all times throughout your time at Olin. An official transcript will be required each term. Cumulative GPA on current institution transcript will be used in transfer college situations.
* Must be enrolled at a local college or university within a reasonable commute of the site if working part-time while completing courses
* Must have completed sophomore year prior to first rotation with Olin
* Ability to work part-time (20 hours a week) during normal business hours if working while taking classes. Not eligible for virtual work.
* Experience in ammunition and firearms with a knowledge of shooting sports industry is preferred
* Preference will be given to candidates with availability and desire to work continuously throughout the year

Oversee the global procurement, contacting and supply chain optimization implementation for multiple modes of transportation, ensuring sourcing, savings and service level agreement targets are met with the most efficient use of resources. **In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:**
+ Oversee all eSourcing systems, analytics, negotiations, and contracting for multiple modes of Transportation and logistics services.
+ This included sourcing and inflation reporting with internal and external stakeholders to ensure Emerson's targets are met and services are provided in accordance with Emerson contracts. This includes third party logistics providers, IT resources across all logistics service providers, electronic connection between Emerson and centralized sourcing data within a cloud environment.
+ Provide weekly, monthly and quarterly reports/performance reviews/corrective actions as applicable for 3 rd Party providers and internal function leadership. Oversee projects and collaborate with IT development projects to reduce costs and ensure execution according to the established Statement of Work (SOW)/Service Level Agreement (SLA).
+ Lead Enterprise directed projects, including cost reductions, complex spend analysis to reach Cash Unlock, Cost Avoidance and Cost Reduction Targets year over year.
+ Drive deployment of standard logistics and supply chain practices globally, Updating/Creating all Standard Operating Procedures, service provider working instructions, contractual requirements, etc.
+ Create, Update, and Maintain Oracle Cloud Analytics Dashboards and Data Sets - including by not limited to Cost-break down analysis, Handicapping matrix, Spend Overview, Service Provide Performance Reviews, and Quarterly Mode Team Reporting, etc.
+ Define, present and implement global logistics strategies.
+ Coordinate with regional Logistics Mode managers to align the strategy and timing of procurement/sourcing events with available resources. Consolidate event specific plans into a high-level global procurement/sourcing strategy and schedule.
+ Develop and maintain a list of standard procurement/sourcing principles and procedures for Transportation and Logistics Services. Ensure understanding and adherence to strategic sourcing, negotiation and implementation for all global modes of transportation and logistics leaders.
+ Advance strong professional relationships with key strategic partners and service providers to ensure alignment between our organization and theirs.
+ Develop, execute, and communicate the procurement/sourcing strategy for your respective modes of transportation, ensuring alignment across the organization - executing cost containment objectives.
+ Work closely with business unit Logistics and Supply Chain Leaders across the corporation to identify opportunities and implement long-term solutions to improve supply chain performance.
+ Lead and coordinate stakeholders to negotiate contractual agreements with key providers. Enhance and improve policies and procedures to efficiently manage the administration of the contracting, sourcing and reporting process.
+ Using business unit input, develop KPI's to measure the operational and cost performance for your mode of transportation.
+ Provide global strategy and project execution, including monthly/quarterly/annual Financial Audit Operations KPIs to support freight payment operational team members in the program world areas - Ensure the highest levels of carrier performance. Train and empower business unit logistics leaders to resolve issues locally but act as a point of escalation as needed.
+ Oversee and execute data analysis required to ensure continuous process improvement, and large-scale data driven projects and exceed performance Metrics and KPI's.
