While in class, students will be paid. Respond to on-set incidents with appropriate care and clear communication. Coordinate with EMS for escalated care or transport when needed. Maintain a fully stocked BLS kit and ensure equipment is in ready condition. Identify potential health or safety concerns and reinforce established protocols. Document all incidents in accordance with company standards. Offer guidance on common health topics, including hydration, fatigue, and environmental exposure. Qualifications: Current EMT, Paramedic, RN certification, or equivalent medical qualification. Valid CPR and First Aid certifications required. All work is BLS-level; no advanced interventions are required or permitted on set. Minimum 2 years of experience in EMS, ER, or standby medic roles (e.g., events, sets, public venues). Familiarity with health and safety protocols for on-set or public-facing environments. Availability for variable hours, including nights, weekends, and potential travel. Shift acceptance is optional, but candidates should be comfortable with nontraditional scheduling. Strong communication skills and ability to remain calm, observant, and professional in dynamic situations.
