Emergency Medical Transport is offering a PAID Apprentice program that will educate candidates and prepare them to successfully complete the National Registry Exam to become a licensed EMT. This is an accelerated class, lasting 6 weeks. Class times will be Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm. Clinical and ride time hours are also required for the course. While in class, students will be paid. After successfully completion of the National Registry exam, students can be hired by any of the sister companies where the salary ranges from $34,185 to $49,740 depending on the shift and schedule chosen. Job Description: The Set Medics is seeking certified EMTs, paramedics, RNs, and related professionals with strong on-site safety and emergency response experience to support productions throughout the Cleveland, Cuyahoga County, area. As a Set Medic, you will provide standby BLS medical support for film, television, streaming, commercials, and live events. This position requires situational awareness, strong communication skills, and the ability to remain calm and professional in fast-paced production environments. Key Responsibilities: Provide basic first aid and standby medical support during filming and production. Monitor the well-being of cast and crew and support the enforcement of safety protocols. Respond to on-set incidents with appropriate care and clear communication. Coordinate with EMS for escalated care or transport when needed. Maintain a fully stocked BLS kit and ensure equipment is in ready condition. Identify potential health or safety concerns and reinforce established protocols. Document all incidents in accordance with company standards. Offer guidance on common health topics, including hydration, fatigue, and environmental exposure. Qualifications: Current EMT, Paramedic, RN certification, or equivalent medical qualification. Valid CPR and First Aid certifications required.
