Provide personalized, high-level support to clients by addressing bookkeeping needs, delivering effective training, and resolving accounting challenges with professionalism and exceptional care. Take ownership of payroll preparation and review processes, coordinating accounts payable, and ensuring compliance while completing essential tax-related documentation. Expertly prepare and file quarterly payroll forms (e.g., Forms 940, 941, 944) and annual reporting forms (e.g., W-2, W-3, 1099, 1096), demonstrating precision and adherence to regulatory standards. Manage the payroll process by collecting and entering payroll data directly into the payroll provider platform with precision and efficiency. Play an active role in organizational development by assisting in the documentation of internal processes, facilitating training initiatives, and promoting knowledge-sharing across the team. Who We're Looking For: An Associate or BA/BS Degree holder in Accounting with 5+ years of relevant public accounting experience preferred. Proficiency in QuickBooks online, Bill.com, Sage Intacct, and Microsoft Office Suite. Solid understanding of GAAP principles and bookkeeping practices. Excellent organization, time-management, and critical thinking skills. Outstanding interpersonal and communication abilities with a client-focused approach. Detail-oriented, proactive, and adaptable to overtime during busy periods. Ability to collaborate effectively in a team while managing independent tasks. Job Responsibilities: * Client Service: Develops an understanding of each client's business/organization operations. Competent in management of multiple clients, software, and chart of accounts on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis. * Day to Day Transactions: Leads coordination and processing of accounts payable, cash disbursements, accounts receivable, cash receipts and posting/recording of payroll transactions. * Month End Processing: Coordinates and reviews account reconciliations (i.e. prepaids, accounts receivable, fixed assets, accounts payable, and accruals.)
